ST GEORGE'S - Key Persons


Amy Cox-Martins

Amy was elected to the Vestry in 2023. She serves as the Ministry Companion for Communication.

Brigid Dwyer

Brigid Dwyer serve's St. George's in a number of lay ministry positions, both at the altar and in the choir, continuing a lifetime of service that started as an eight-year-old boat-bearer at Trinity Cathedral in Trenton, where her father was Curate. This history informs her philosophy of including all of God's children, regardless of age, into the life and ministry of the Church. Brigid brings an academic background to her work in Christian Education, holding Master of Arts and Master of Sacred Theology degrees from Drew Theological School, where she is working on her PhD, in Bible and Culture. Most of all, Brigid is excited to help St. George's learn from, form, and develop the ministry of our brilliant children and youth.

Curtis Bowers, Jr

Curtis is our sexton. He is an outgoing, energetic, strong-minded, fun, and loving person. He loves things to be clean and serene. In addition to working at St. George's, Curtis works at the Church of the Redeemer in Morristown; and as a driver and on the Peer Support line for the Mental Health Association. He is in the process of becoming a certified Peer Specialist.

Dan Boylan

Dan was elected to the Vestry in 2021. He serves as the Ministry Companion for Social Justice and Advocacy.

Dan Mitchell

Job Titles:
  • Senior Warden
Dan has served on the Vestry since 2015, and elected as Junior Warden in 2020, and Senior Warden in 2023. Dan serves as the Stewardship Ministry Companion.

Glen Hoffs

Glen was elected to the Vestry in 2021. He serves as the Ministry Companion for Community Evangelism.

John Hamer

John was elected to the Vestry in 2023. He serves as the Ministry Companion for Worship.

John Lauder

John was elected to the Vestry in 2023. He serves as the Ministry Companion for Discipleship.

Lindsay McHugh

Lindsay was elected to the Vestry in 2023. She serves as the Ministry Companion for Discernment.

Magaly Denis-Roman

Magaly was elected to the Vestry in 2021. She serves as the Ministry Companion for Outreach.

Margo Hill

Margo was elected to the Vestry in 2018, and again in 2021 for a 3 year term. Margo serves as the Ministry Companion for the Capital Campaign.

Mary Lou Mitchell

Mary Lou was elected to the Vestry in 2021. She serves as the Ministry Companion for Property and Grounds.

Megan Coiley

Megan Coiley enjoys a multi-faceted musical career. In addition to serving the community of St. George's, Megan Coiley is active in the wider ecumenical community. She is a cantor and organist for area Roman Catholic churches, and she also serves as the Music Minister for Princeton Presbyterians, the Presbyterian campus ministry of Princeton University. Megan is a graduate of Westminster Choir College, through which she has performed with the New York Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and other leading orchestras. As a collaborative pianist, she frequently plays with violinists and singers throughout New Jersey, and as a soloist, she is a specialist in the piano music of Shostakovich. She is presently on the piano faculty at The Allegra School of Music and Arts in Hillsborough, NJ, and her students are deeply weird and wonderful people. When she is not making music, Megan enjoys making a myriad of other things, among which include craft cocktails, excellent coffee, jewelry, gluten-free and vegan food, and large messes. She resides in Madison, NJ, with her wife and their cat, Regina Caeli.
