Christa Folkers has a remarkable talent to provide powerful support for motivation and performance leading to successful and profitable teams. She often inspires others with her ability to identify gaps in leadership development, training and coaching. She is also well versed in creating positive outcomes with hiring practices, process improvement and overall organizational/team strategy.
Prior to co-founding the Strengths Consulting Group, Christa successfully managed large teams in sales, staffing and recruiting at the executive level. She is a graduate of Accomplishment Coaching, and specializes in leading clients to use the Clifton StrengthsFinder as a tool to facilitate powerful coaching and training techniques focused on the individual strengths of team members.
With 20 years as an executive leader, coach and top producer in the staffing industry, Christa has experience in all the facets of leading highly productive sales, recruitment and support teams to reach and exceed their goals.

Kendrick is an example of what is possible when an individual focuses their strengths and couple their purpose with passion. His experience includes serving in a diverse range of roles - from the world of art to serving as a radar technician and substance abuse counselor in the United States Navy. Kendrick's wide ranging skills and experience enable him to be an excellent counselor, consultant, coach, trainer and facilitator.
After his nine years of service in the United States Navy, Kendrick attended San Diego State University where he received his BA in Africana Studies/Psychology. In 2013, he graduated from The University of Southern California with his MSW with a concentration Community Organization and Policy Administration. He currently works with the following organizations: City College and PCTWA's Culturally Responsive Academy.
Kendrick values his work as an artist much as he seeks to use his professional skills to help professionals develop their skills just and help disenfranchised populations to make their voice heard. He is an accomplished spoken word artist, musical director and band leader. For over 12 years, he has been able to set himself apart, through pairing his professional knowledge with his artist skills. He is currently the front man for the award-winning spoken word, hip hop soul band, The Lyrical Groove, which won consecutive San Diego Music Awards. In addition to music, he has published a book of poetry, completed voiceover work for a nationally recognized commercial campaign, and, most recently, he participated in a fellowship with a community arts organization called the Playwrights Project working with underserved populations such as the homeless/runaway youth, drug abusers in recovery and incarcerated personnel, to teach them how to write plays.

Kenzi is passionate about creating workplaces where employees can thrive. She believes strongly that employee engagement is a key factor for success in business, and that the StrengthsFinder tool is a great resource for improving engagement. It is hard to feel motivated at work when you're too busy being drained and not feeling heard. When one takes a quick look at today's marketplace, it is clear that successful companies are those that have a clear purpose, servant leadership, strong culture, and an environment of trust. Kenzi particularly enjoys working with people one-on-one to gain a deeper understanding of their Strengths, and to show how they can be used beneficially at work and at home.
Kenzi comes to the Strengths Consulting Group with over 15 years of experience in the defense industry where she gained a wide range of skills in human resources, security, marketing, and business development. She has a BS in Biology from Northwest Nazarene University, a Masters in Liberal Arts and Sciences from San Diego State University, and an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UCSD, where she focused on organizational development.

Marc Otto has a passion for building engagement in the workplace through effective working relationships. He firmly believes that when talent and integrity overlap, an individual's passion and skills drive them to make the world a better place for everyone. Marc strives to help individuals and teams learn how to work together more effectively through the science of talent and practical customized relationship strategies.
In the course of his career, Marc has met with over 2,700 people to help drive more effective relationships between executives, divisions, departments and teams. He has worked with over 47 different companies with a total revenue over 14 billion dollars and tens of thousands of employees along the West Coast in the fields of bio-pharmaceuticals, software, technology, education, insurance, as well as with county and social service agencies.

Pamela has always enjoyed working with others and she knew early on she wanted to make a difference. Throughout her career this has taken the form of working on behalf of teen mothers providing childcare and educational services, running educational programs for low income families, and as a County of San Diego Social Worker - Pamela spent 28 years working in Child Welfare Services at the County of San Diego as a worker, supervisor, and manager.
Many times during her career, Pamela has had the opportunity to provide individuals coaching and personal development. She was introduced to Gallup Strengths 15 years ago. Through individual and group coaching she gained a deeper understanding of her talents and how to maximize their effectiveness. Tom Fries brings a systematic approach to Strengths Consulting using an engineering background tempered with years of checklists flying aircraft around the world. Having worked in various companies and observed various business approaches, Tom sees the engagement and wellbeing of individuals as the key to the success of any enterprise.
Tom is currently a manager with a utility company leading a department of employees tasked with safety of operations, emergency operations, and risk reduction. Previously he worked as a technical program manager with a large engineering contractor and prior to that Tom served in the Marine Corps for 22 years as an F/A-18 pilot. During his Marine Corps career, Tom held multiple leadership positions during various duties- building teams and units to achieve full capabilities and readiness.
Tom holds a Master of Science in Executive Leadership (MSEL) degree from the University of San Diego, a Master's degree in Military Studies from Marine Corps University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Temple University.
