Scheu & Kniss was founded in 1915. The founders of the company were Louis Scheu, Sr. and Louis Kniss. Mr. Scheu had been a tool maker at Ahrens and Knotts Company, now know as American Standard. Mr. Kniss had been a supervisor in the brass finishing department of the same company. The company moved to its present location in 1921... Elizabeth Scheu & Kniss is a manufacturer of machine parts and manufactures products to fit OEM equipment.
