SKYE

Built on the site of The Skye Hotel, this former department store building has been renovated to be Bennettsville's premier event location. Whether it is a small business dinner, civic organization meeting or a large reception, The Skye can provide the ideal location for your event... After several years working on restoring the building, The Skye opened in 2005, offering the people of Bennettsville and the surrounding area an upscale facility to host events of all sorts. We named the building after The Skye Hotel, which occupied the same location, before being destroyed by fire in 1908 after less than half a decade in business. The main ballroom is called The Dunvegan Room, after the famous castle on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The other space is the Glenmore Room, which features a custom-build oak bar.
