THE ARC DEARBORN

A 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, The Arc Dearborn operates under the guidance of a Board of Directors comprised of community leaders, parents, and members of the disabled communities in which it serves. Organizationally, The Arc Dearborn revolves around two major functions, the Community Program, which enables people with disabilities to be fully involved in the activities of the greater community, and advocacy, including Systems Navigation, Parent Mentorship, and the promotion of Dignified Lifestyles for all people... The Arc Dearborn provides a wide range of supportive services, information and advocacy to improve the quality of life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc promotes opportunities to live, learn and work in Dearborn, Dearborn Heights and surrounding communities among family, friends and neighbors...
