Dato' Mohd Izani Ghani was appointed Director of Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad (CIMA) on 15 January 2019, a wholly owned subsidiary of UEM Group Berhad (UEM Group). He has over 27 years of investment and management experience and prior to joining UEM Group, was the Executive Director, Investments at Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah) where he oversaw its Turkey Regional Office. He was formerly Khazanah's Chief Financial Officer where under his leadership, the Government's strategic investment arm issued many landmark sukuk transactions including exchangeable and social impact sukuk. He had also previously served at Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd and Renong Group On 1 January 2019, he was appointed Executive Director of UEM Group and re-designated as the Managing Director on 1 August 2019. Dato' Mohd Izani also sits on the Board of PLUS Malaysia Berhad, Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Berhad, UEM Sunrise Berhad, UEM Edgenta Berhad, UEM Builders Berhad, Konsortium ProHAWK Sdn Bhd, Samsung C&T Corporation UEM Construction JV Sdn Bhd as well as Chairman and Board Member of PLUS Expressways International Berhad. Dato' Mohd Izani is also Member of the Board of Trustees of Yayasan UEM and Member of Board of Governors of Kolej Yayasan UEM. Mr. Harman Faiz Bin Habib Muhamad is Director, Corporate Support Services of UEM Group Berhad ("UEM").
