A spare bedroom turned office space in Kennebunk, ME is where W.C. Cressey & Son, Inc. had its beginnings nearly four decades ago. W. Churchill Cressey, and his son George, started the business in August 1979 as the Thomas Built Buses dealer for Maine and New Hampshire. Sales growth led to an office in downtown Kennebunk, followed by a move to the present location in 1985. At that time, four employees worked in a leased portion of the current building... In the beginning, W.C. Cressey & Son sold bus bodies, which could be placed on a number of different chassis'. When Freightliner bought Thomas Built Buses in the late 90s, W.C. Cressey became a true full-service dealer to meet customer needs. Parts delivery and a full service center were added to support the turn-key buses now being sold throughout Maine and New Hampshire... With almost forty years of experience selling and servicing buses, W.C. Cressey & Son, Inc. is ready to help you with your transportation needs.
