Vollco International began with a moment of frustration that sparked an innovation. When Roger Voll, the product's inventor, balked at spending $30 to $35 on replacement "Lift and Cut" blades for his dull Norelco/Philishave shaver, he decided to solve the problem himself. Instead of accepting the steep cost of new blades, Roger developed a prototype sharpener in just 12 months. The result was extraordinary-he could restore his blades to like-new sharpness whenever needed.
