WIER RANCH

The horse business began for the Wier family way back in 1860 in Blanco Co Texas. The ranching legacy and passion for raising good horses and cattle continues in our family. We now make our home in Texas, again dividing our time between Texas, the Nebraska Sandhills, on what is part of the ranch that has passed through several generations of Lezlie's family. We have horses in several states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, New Mexico and Nebraska with several different partners and trainers... Ranch horses are a "mix" of a lot of ideas and experiences being applied to try and achieve those goals. The pedigree of our horses are the works of many good horsemen, some you can read about in books and at the "Hall of Fame", others just as good of horsemen "and women" that work with and on their horses, that are seldom, if ever, seen and known only by their families and close friends to be good horsemen.
