Located in the rolling green hills of northern Missouri, Whippoorwill Ridge Farm is owned by Melissa and Anthony Mihalevich. These 80 acres have lush pastures and woods and include a 10-stall private barn with indoor and individual paddocks plus a virtually all-weather outdoor ring... Melissa began riding at an early age during her childhood in Las Vegas. Born Melissa Cardenas, she was coached by Jimmy Williams and Gene Lewis. Competing at Mexico City and Cocoyoc in 1974, she was named leading international rider and won the silver medal in the 1.60 meter class. Melissa competed across the west on High Barbaree, a 15.3 hand Standardbred gelding and other jumpers, including Power Play, a Canadian Sport Horse
