Newforge is currently the home of the Ulster Rugby Academy where the local rugby stars of the future are nourished in year-round training and annual summer camps... Newforge is also the home of the Northern Ireland Women's international football team. The team used Newforge as its 6-month training camp before their inaugural European Championships in 2022 and are now happy to call the venue home... At its core, Newforge is a sports facility, and works hard to promote amateur sport in the greater Belfast region.
