Chris Proctor is currently the Head of Programme at B:Music, the music charity responsible for Town Hall and Symphony Hall, Birmingham, and is responsible for managing the programme of c.800 performances that are presented in the range of venues that B:Music manages each year. As well as managing events in these venues, Chris is also a saxophonist playing in a range of bands throughout the UK. Having created the accessible thread of programming at B:Music, Chris' interest and passion for enabling access and removing barriers stretches beyond just the music and arts industry, and having seen the wonderful work that Midland Mencap are doing to celebrate abilities (not disabilities!) across a range of areas, is excited to bring his expertise and knowledge to the Board at Midland Mencap.

Jenny joined the Board of Trustees in 2005 and is a parent/carer to Bryn who lives in one of our Supported Living houses, where she is also supportive of the whole group of tenants. She is an effective voice for all our tenants in other Supported Living accommodation advocating their right to appropriate living accommodation and in accessing low-cost meaningful leisure time activities.

Kuldip was previously Asian Business Development Manager at Birmingham Chamber of Commerce. Kuldip brings a wealth of business planning and financial management expertise to Midland Mencap

Martin was previously Director of Operations at Mencap and has over 40 years' experience of working in the voluntary sector. Martin has been Chair of Midland Mencap for sixteen years and also works with a number of community organisations in Worcestershire supporting self-advocacy groups and citizen engagement.

Nick Green has lived in the Birmingham area for over 30 years. His background is in supply chain and logistics across a number of Midlands-based companies, in different industries including steel, automotive, optics and consumer goods. Nick is trustee for Midland Mencap and the Leprosy Mission Trading.

Nigel has been our Citizens' Representative since 2009. He is very active in our Sports Service which he enjoys together alongside other members. He has been a tenant in a Midland Mencap Supported Living house since 1995 and is involved with associated organisations in the City.
