ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED FRAUD EXAMINERS

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), based in Austin, Texas, is an international organization whose mission is to reduce the incidence of white-collar crime and assist in the detection and deterrence of fraud. Since its inception in 1988, the ACFE is the world's largest anti-fraud organization and premier provider of anti-fraud training and education. Together with more than 55,000 members, the ACFE is reducing business fraud world-wide and inspiring public confidence in the integrity and objectivity within the profession... The chapter was incorporated in 1991 and is one of more than 100 chapters officially recognized by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
