Dr. Audrey Stanley, M.D., M.P.H., is founder and medical director of Ava Med Spa and Ava Hair Restoration. She is a physician and surgeon with extensive knowledge in Cosmetic Dermatology, Hair Restoration Surgery and over 20 years experience. Her friendly and down to earth attitude makes people feel like they've known her for years. She is very personable, professional, and interested in establishing a relationship with each patient in order to recommend what is best for them.
She graduated from University of California, San Diego. She attended Yale University. She met her husband in Maryland and moved to Louisiana where she finished her training.
She relocated here 17 years ago to be closer to her mom who was battling with Alzheimer's Disease. Her mom lost that battle in 2009. She is a mother to 2 girls and enjoys painting, gardening, reading, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family.
Dr. Stanley is on the cutting edge of new and innovative treatments for hair restoration. Mentored and trained in the art of hair transplants under the watchful eye of some of the best hair transplant surgeons in the world, and offered a position with a well-known hair restoration franchise. Instead, Dr. Stanley chose to remain independent in order to offer a more personal 'boutique' clinic experience to her patients.
