Your next visit to Newport can be expensive so we offer to cheapen the experience. The Bite Me Live Bait Company is located in the heart of Newport, right off the harbor. We no longer sell bait, frankly because all of our merchandise, from clothing to glassware, began to smell the same, like bait. What we do sell are some of the finest quality t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, fleece and caps available in New England. The graphics on our merchandise is all original and may be inappropriate for yacht clubs, "blue blazer" functions and chardonnay bars and that's the way we like it. Besides our clothing items we also sell wood signs and buoys that remember the heritage of a bygone era. The people that worked the Newport waterfront were true characters with a rich sense of humor.
