David Welden

Dr. Dave Welden D.D.S was born and raised in Carson City, Nevada. In 1997 he moved to Moscow, Idaho to attend the University of Idaho where he received a BS in Biology in 2001. From 2001-2005, Dr. Welden went to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After spending 4 years in Michigan earning a D.D.S. degree, Dr. Welden moved to Oklahoma for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. In 2006, Dr. Welden moved to Boulder and began working with everyone at North Boulder Dental. While practicing, he has been an active member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Boulder/Broomfield Dental Society, and an officer with the Boulder Dental Forum. He participates in the Give Kids a Smile program and Dental Lifeline Network. In his off time, he, his wife, and kids enjoy skiing, hiking, and all the wonderful food Colorado has to offer.

Dr. Sica is originally from Chadds Ford, PA. In 1989 he attended The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He then moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University School of Dentistry and graduated in 1997. Following Dental School Dr. Sica and his wife moved to Colorado where he completed his General Practice Residency at Denver Health. In 1998 Dr. Sica moved to Boulder and joined North Boulder Dental Group. He is a proud member of the Colorado Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the Boulder/Broomfield Dental Society. Dr. Sica provides dental services for the "Dental Lifeline Network" as well as "Give Kids a Smile" programs. When he isn't busy turning out beautiful smiles, he, his wife and two boys enjoy skiing, camping and everything that Colorado has to offer.

Dr. Kristy Dhaliwal

Dr. Kristy Dhaliwal is originally from Oxford, Indiana, and moved to Colorado in 1991. She graduated in 1988 from DePauw University with a B.A. in Biology. She continued her education and became a board-certified Medical Technologist and worked several years as a clinical microbiologist in both Indiana and Colorado. While working at University Hospital in Denver, she decided to further her education at the University Of Colorado School of Dentistry. She received her D.D.S. in 2000 and has worked in Boulder County since then. She joined the North Boulder Dental Group team in 2017. Dr. Dhaliwal participates in the Adopt a Smile program through The Boulder County School District and with the Dental Lifeline Network. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Boulder Broomfield Dental Association. Dr. Dhaliwal and her husband, Avi have a daughter and 2 sons and enjoy going on adventures as a family. She likes to travel, hike, camp and has recently become very involved with photography.

Dr. Stephanie Nielsen

Dr. Stephanie Nielsen is originally from Superior, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and went on to receive her dental degree from the University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine. She has volunteered with the Colorado Mission of Mercy, Give Kids a Smile, and has travelled to Guatemala to donate her services. Dr. Nielsen is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and the Boulder/Broomfield County Dental Society. She and her husband Jeff are happy to be raising their twin boys and daughter in Boulder and enjoy all that Colorado has to offer.

Dr. Timothy F. Kyger

Dr. Kyger graduated from James Madison University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Biology. He then obtained his Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Louisville in 2015. In 2016, Dr. Kyger completed an in-depth General Practice Residency at Summa Health in Akron, Ohio, treating patients in the dental chair, operating room, and even bedside. He performed a wide variety of complex procedures during his residency, including full mouth reconstruction, extensive dental surgery, and cosmetic procedures. He then decided to work in his home state of Ohio for a few years, practicing full time in Cincinnati and performing surgical procedures in his parents' dental practice with his time off. As for additional training, Dr. Kyger is devoted to continuing education having completed courses at the Spear Education campus, Arrowhead Dental campus, and at local, state, and nationwide events. Tim is a proud member of Boulder-Broomfield Dental Society, Colorado Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
