Brock is a 2000 graduate of Wake Forest University with a B.A. in History and a Minor in Spanish, and a 2003 graduate of the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. From 2004- 2006, Brock served as a judicial law clerk to Senior United States District Judge Paul Brown, who served the Eastern District of Texas in Sherman, Texas. Brock is a graduate of Sherman High School and a life-long resident of the city of Sherman where growing up, he played baseball and earned the rank of Eagle..
