Dr. Shiau has a BS Chemical Engineering, MS Chemical Engineering, and PhD Civil Engineering. He is Director of Technology and a Principal at Surbec and is Assistant Professor of Petroleum Engineering and Director of Applied Surfactant Laboratory at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Shiau has over 10 years experience in subsurface mobilization of organic phases. More recently, his research efforts involve enhancing crude oil recovery using chemical flooding from marginal well formations.
Chad's previous roles include EOR Petroleum Engineer, Advisor to the Chief Petroleum Engineer, Business Planner, and Deepwater Reservoir Engineer at Royal Dutch Shell. Prior to Shell, he served as VP of Research for Ekips Technologies, a venture capital backed biomedical firm. Dr. Roller received his Ph.D. from Rice University and a M.S. from the University of Oklahoma.

Dan manages the laboratory for Interwell testing services and technology. He received BS and PhD degrees in chemistry with experience leading analytical chemistry labs in Battelle, Amoco, BP, and Core Labs. He has also worked as a Senior Scientist in the area of process development at Cameron International

Dr. Harwell will serve as CTO and VP of Business Development with a primary focus of securing additional clients. Dr. Harwell has a BS Chemistry, MS Divinity, PhD Chemical Engineering and has been involved in three startup companies. His areas of expertise are Colloids and Surface Science, Polymer Science and entrepreneurship. Dr. Harwell is a tenured Professor and past Associate Dean of Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, principal of Surbec Environmental, Inc. and a principal in Surfactant Associates, Inc. Dr. Harwell has over 15 years experience in subsurface mobilization of organic phases.
