Howard S. Rappaport

Howard S. Rappaport has experience in all real estate asset classes. In his 19 years with Continental Properties, Howard has been responsible for the development of more than $700 million worth of real estate, including overseeing the development of over 2,600 units of residential housing. Howard actively directs the management of 5,000 rental apartments and participates in the operational management of Continental's commercial portfolio. He has expertise in diverse facets of the real estate industry including the sourcing and evaluation of investments, evaluation of and arranging financing, design, marketing and leasing and dispositions. Prior to joining Continental Properties, Howard spent seven years at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, LLP, an international law firm based in New York, where he represented lenders as well as both public and private companies in a diverse range of matters including acquisitions, joint ventures and financing. While at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, he also represented the Resolution Trust Company (RTC) in its disposition of real estate-owned assets. In his role representing lenders, Howard provided counsel on workouts, foreclosures (judicial and UCC foreclosures) and asset disposition. Howard holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, where he graduated cum laude, and a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in the states of New York and Connecticut.

John G. Udell

John G. Udell has broad real estate experience including acquisition, development, redevelopment, portfolio enhancement and disposition. John will use his proven expertise by expanding Continental's footprint in the NY Metropolitan Region with a focus on multifamily development and redevelopment. John's proven real estate knowledge, deep expertise and stellar industry reputation will complement the Continental Properties Team. Prior to joining Continental Properties, John was President of the Weichert Development Company, Weichert Commercial Brokerage, and Weichert New Homes and Land Co. John had experience handling portfolios containing 1-30 assets in his role as President of Metland Properties Group including Bank of New York, Midlantic National Bank and NatWest Bank. Prior to Weichert he has been involved nationally in real estate development and analysis acquiring, developing, and disposing of real property valued in excess of $500,000,000. Prior to Weichert, John directly contributed to a homebuilding company and achieved recognition as a top 400 Housing Giant in Professional Builders Magazine and Fastest Growing Company by Business Journal of New Jersey and Inc. Magazine. John's leadership generated a combined annual sales volume that was excess of $1 billion. John is a Life Director and Founders Award recipient at the Metropolitan Builders Association. In addition to serving as the Vice Chairman of the Chester Township Zoning Board of Adjustment, John during his career was a member of 6 industry professional associations. John received a Bachelor's Degree from Johnson State College where he was inducted to the Athletic Hall of Fame and later presented with the Outstanding Alumni Award.

Mark Fisch

As Co-Managing Principal of Continental Properties, Mark Fisch is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of Continental's investments, including acquisitions, financing, management and divestitures. His preeminent expertise is in strategic planning, analysis of markets and market cycles, evaluation of investment acquisitions, repositioning of assets and divestiture. Mark is a Trustee of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where he serves on numerous committees, including acquisitions, investment, legal, building, finance, architectural, The Whitney/Breuer Project and the Steering Committee for the Museum Fund. He is also on the Board of New York University's Institute of Fine Arts, and is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations and serves on its Admissions Committee. Mark is a former Commissioner of the State of New Jersey Council on Affordable Housing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from George Washington University, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, as well as a Juris Doctor from Columbia University School of Law.

Steven Fisch

Steven Fisch has over 25 years of experience as an owner and operator of all sectors of real estate. As a Co-Managing Principal of Continental Properties, a diversified real estate development and management company, he is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of Continental's investments, including acquisitions, financing, management and divestitures. Steven's preeminent expertise is in strategic planning, analysis of markets and market cycles, evaluation of investment acquisitions, repositioning of assets and divestiture. He oversees a portfolio of approximately 5,500 rental apartments, which includes market-rate and rent-regulated apartments. Since joining Continental Properties in 1989, Steven has been responsible for the development of over $3 billion worth of real estate, including the development of over 10,000 residential units and the purchase of over one million square feet of office and commercial space. He has extensive experience in dealing with non-performing and distressed assets. Throughout the 1990s, he acquired distressed real estate from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Resolution Trust Company (RTC) and lenders and entities disposing of REO. His demonstrated track record in repositioning residential and commercial assets includes expertise in development, construction, property management, marketing, sales and leasing. He is the founder of the Children's Hope Foundation, a New York City-based not for-profit entity with a 21-year record of assisting children in need. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, where he graduated cum laude, and he earned a Juris Doctor from the New York University School of Law. He is admitted to the Bar in the State of New Jersey.
