Doolittle Institute (DI), an Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Innovation Institute, supports the AFRL Munitions Directorate (RW) by facilitating industry partnerships that lead to the transfer of technology between the Lab, businesses and academia. DI's STEM outreach efforts support AFRL/RW's future workforce needs by developing today's students into tomorrow's STEM workforce... Doolittle Institute, an AFRL Institute, supports the AFRL Munitions Directorate by working to license and commercialize technologies... In 2015, the Doolittle Institute expanded its customer base to include U.S. SOCOM with the establishment of SOFWERX. SOFWERX grew to become a national model for defense innovation and created significant interest in the Doolittle Institute as a DoD innovation partner.
