Conor Doran

Conor completed his physiotherapy degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, having previously studied at Dublin City University where he completed a BSc in Athletic Therapy and Training. Since graduating Conor has worked in private practice, dealing with a mixed caseload of sports injuries, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Conor has experience working in professional sport, having worked with Dundalk FC in the League of Ireland for three and a half years. He currently works with Meath Gaa. Conor is currently undertaking an MSc in Strength and Conditioning through St Mary's University in London and has a keen interest in gym based rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Conor's other areas of clinical interest are sports injuries, shoulder pain and post-operative rehab. Conor is a keen sportsman having attended Dublin City University on an athletics scholarship and has represented Meath in Gaa at all levels from U14 to Senior. He currently plays senior club football for St Peters Dunboyne. Conor strives to implement evidence-based practice at all times and aims to help both athletes and non-athletes achieve their goals through a combination of advice, education, exercise and manual therapy.

Darragh Rowan

Darragh completed his physiotherapy degree at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, having previously studied at Dublin City University where he completed a B.Sc. in Sports Science and Health. Since graduating Darragh has worked in private practice treating musculoskeletal and sports related injuries. Darragh completed his master's degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in UCD which has consolidated his specialisation in the assessment and treatment skills for musculoskeletal injuries. He is passionate about the delivery of the best evidence based care for all of his patients. Darragh is also a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and has previously held the position of Lead Strength and Conditioning coach to Tennis Irelands National Training Academy. When treating patients, Darragh combines his interests in strength and conditioning, exercise rehabilitation and evidence based musculoskeletal physiotherapy, to deliver patient focused, results driven physiotherapy care.

Sarah Brady

Sarah completed her physiotherapy degree at UCD. During her time working in New Zealand, Sarah gained valuable experience in areas such as sports rehabilitation, ergonomics and repetitive strain injuries. Part of her work involved the management and rehabilitation of persistent back and neck pain through advice, exercise and pain management strategies. She gained a complex understanding of the challenges faced by people returning to work after injury. Sarah completed Pilates training with Dance Medicine Australia. She continues to use this training in her teaching of Clinical Pilates classes in the clinic, and indeed with many of her patients for rehabilitation of back, neck and pelvic pain. Sarah has extensive private practice experience. She has developed a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries and back and neck pain. Sarah is an accomplished and fully trained clinician in the use of dry needling and finds this to be clinically useful tool for certain musculoskeletal conditions. Sarah published research in this area in 2014. She has also published research in the area of working during pregnancy in 2007. Sarah is a keen runner and has a background in sports physiotherapy having worked with St Vincent's senior football team, Lansdowne Rugby team and Pirongia Rugby in New Zealand. She understands the challenges an athlete faces with injury and combines her experience in manual therapy and rehabilitation to encourage a speedy recovery. Sarah has completed the Masters programme in UCD, which led to a specialization in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She has therefore developed advanced clinical skills for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Sarah also has a keen interest in the assessment and treatment of the specific vestibular problems which can respond well to vestibular rehabilitation.

Sinead Roche

Sinead is originally a graduate of Trinity College School of Physiotherapy in Dublin. She has worked in the Adelaide Hospital, Tallaght Hospital and within the NHS system in the UK. When specialising, she completed the Masters programme in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia . This University is world renowned for the research it has produced in the field of physiotherapy. Following a variety of posts in hospital and private practice settings, she established Collins Avenue Physiotherapy Clinic in 2004. She has been an invited lecturer and clinical tutor at UCD for the Masters programme in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She has also presented at professional conferences and has provided continuing professional development courses for Chartered Physiotherapists nationwide. Sinead has been Chairperson of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists subgroup representing physiotherapists in private practice for 3 years. Clinically, she has worked with a wide range of clients including the Irish Boxing Team, the Dublin Senior Football and Hurling Team. Her special interests are in the management of chronic spinal pain, whiplash associated disorders, sports injuries and osteoporosis .
