Luis Boscán is an economist by training and has more than 15 years of work experience in different knowledge-intensive roles, where energy issues have played a central role.
Before joining Ea, he was affiliated with the Danish Utility Regulator (DUR), where he worked as economist in charge of developing a data-driven approach to market surveillance with focus on both structural and micro-structural aspects of the Danish wholesale energy markets (electricity and gas). In addition, he has been project leader for DUR's Anthology Project "Energy Regulation in the Green Transition" and has also managed several decision cases on electricity market design, in cooperation with other National Regulatory Authorities.
Prior to DUR, Luis worked as researcher and instructor in the field of Energy Economics and Policy at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). In the earlier part of his career, Luis worked for six years as Economist and Senior Economist at Venezuela's Central Bank (BCV). There, he was in charge of overseeing international economy issues, including foreign exchange and reserve policy and international trade. In this capacity, Luis was a member of BCV's expert team on global Oil & Gas issues, reporting directly to BCV's board.
Luis is a Chevening Scholar (2010) and AFS Alumnus (Japan, 1996).

Michael is a specialist in energy planning, which he carries out through mathematical modelling and analysis of energy systems. He is an expert in the energy modelling tools EnergyPLAN, EnergyPRO, and Power Market Tool - POMATO. In addition, Michael works with SQL, Python, Excel, and VBA, and in relation to this he has experience with databases, data analysis and developing tailormade models that reflect the properties of various technologies. Michael has experience in planning laws, social economy, and business economy, which enables him to explore the challenges and opportunities that rise when establishing energy-oriented projects. Furthermore, Michael is a specialist in GIS, which enables him to study local conditions and find the locally bound resources that are relevant to energy projects. Michael also has experience in life-cycle perspectives, which allows him to investigate the sustainability of various scenarios.

Nina Dupont is a consultant with an analytical background and good knowledge on the energy market. She has focused on the integration of renewables in the energy system, analysing the benefits of different types of integration measures.
