Amie Peck

Amie Peck Quality Improvement Specialist Amie joined the Futures team in 1994 as a Direct Support Professional. Just 2 years later she was promoted to a Program Specialist where she spent the next 25 years supporting numerous participants in various programs. In 2018, Amie was promoted to the Associate Vice President of Community Services. In 2021 she was promoted to Quality Improvement Specialist. Amie has obtained various credentials and certifications over the years including Medication Training, ACRE trained, CPR, AED, and First Aid, as well as being an ODP Certified Investigator. Amie is part of Futures' Human Rights Team, Management Team, Aging/IDD Team, as well as the Investigator Peer Review Committee. Her community involvement includes McKean County Special Olympics, Hinsdale Central School Parent Liaison, Hinsdale Youth Commission Board Member, as well as fostering children from the Cattaraugus County area. When asked what Amie has most enjoyed about Futures over the years she explained, "Being part of Futures is a place where we can witness first hand and be part of the dedication, determination, and independence that has brought forth absolute uniqueness and pride." Education She earned her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Jamestown Community College and her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Empire State College.

Brittany Keck

Brittany came to Futures in April 2017. Originally she was hired as an Administrative Assistant. In July 2018 she was promoted to the Director of Human Resources, a department that did not exist prior. Her committee involvement within Futures includes Chairman of the Events Committee, Recorder of the Safety Committee, and member of the reFocus Newsletter Committee. In 2021 Brittany obtained her Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification, to become a certified professional in the Human Resource realm. Brittany volunteers her time serving as the Secretary of the Bradford Creative Performing Arts Center (BCPAC) within the community. Brittany was also a 2018 graduate of Leadership McKean. When asked what she likes most about Futures she stated "The people. The people I work and interact with each and every day bring such an enormous amount of positivity to my life. The hard work, dedication, and heart of our staff and individuals creates a fun and loving work environment." Education She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Charlotte Layton

Dave Rinfrette

Job Titles:

Dave was hired in 1987 as a supervisor. In 1992 he was promoted to manage FRC Industries, the Chestnut Street facility. In 2010 he returned to One Futures Way and became the Director of Sales, where he developed long standing partnerships with many businesses in the surrounding area. In 2018 he was promoted to Vice President of Commercial Operations where he oversees production, maintenance and continues to maintain relationships with our business partners. Dave is the Chair of the Safety Committee and a member of the Human Rights Team. Dave stated what he likes most about Futures is, "Every day brings new challenges and you could not ask for a better work environment. Our dedicated staff and individuals are what makes Futures a great place to work." After spending many years involved in youth sports in the Bradford area, Dave now enjoys the YMCA, golfing and spending weekends at his family camp.

Julie Newman

Julie came to Futures in July of 2013 where she was named the Director of Finance. In July 2018 she was then promoted as the Vice President of Finance. Julie serves as the Agency's Representative for our contracting work through UniqueSource as well as a member of the Compliance Committee. She volunteers her time in the community as a McKean County CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) member since 2016. Within that position she has completed numerous hours of training and to date has been involved with 3 separate cases with sibling groups who obtained permanency. Julie was also a 2016 graduate of Leadership McKean. When asked what she enjoys most about Futures she stated, "The culture here has given me a completely different perspective on life. Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to the mission. There is a genuine spirit of cooperation." Education She earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, bringing 25+ years of finance experience.

Mark Raecher

Mark joined the Futures team in March 2022 as the Director of Employment Services. Mark comes to us with over 20 years of human services experience. He has worked with many populations in many roles including Quality Management and Compliance training staff in policy and procedure, to developing and reforming programs to better serve individuals in an ever-changing Climate. He is a member of the Quality Management Committee and the Human Rights Committee at Futures. Mark states that what he enjoys about working at Futures is, "The culture. You can immediately tell that staff have their heart in their job and care deeply about each other and the individuals." Education: Associate Degree in Humanities from Jamestown Community College. Financial Social Work Certification. Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators Certification.

Melissa Bartlein

Melissa was hired at Futures in March 2017 as a Program Specialist and the Agency's acting Compliance Officer. Melissa's committee involvement while at Futures involves being a member of the Human Rights Team, a member of the Administration Review Team, as well as a member of the reFocus Newsletter Committee. Her connection with the community includes being a member of the YMCA while also volunteering her time to work with the McKean County Special Olympics. Melissa stated that what she likes most about Futures is, "The diversity of the work that I do ensures no day is like any other. I work with a variety of people and enjoy helping others. Also, the clients make everyone feel welcome." Education She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford while also earning her Master's Degree in Special Education from Kaplan University.

Melissa Newcombe

Melissa joined Futures in June 2022 as the Director of Home and Community Services. She brings twenty-five years of human services experience, working throughout McKean County in different capacities and with many populations. She is a member of the Human Rights Committee. Melissa states what she likes most about working at Futures is, "The individuals. Everyday you're met with, ‘Hey, good morning! Have a great day!'. No matter what's going on, the individuals always overflow with positivity and kindness; it's contagious." Education: Melissa earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University.

Steve Morgan - CEO, President

Steve joined the Futures team in November of 2018 after serving people with disabilities for nearly 25 years. Steve is an active member of the community. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Bradford and a long-standing member of Pine Acres Country Club. Over the years, Steve has been a coach and mentor to a countless number of boys and girls involved in community sports leagues, including soccer, basketball, and baseball. What he appreciates most about Futures is the Commitment and Positivity that the People of Futures demonstrate every day. Education Steve is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, as well as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. He earned a bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy from Slippery Rock University and a master's degree in Counseling from St. Bonaventure University.

Tom Madine

Tom was hired at Futures in January 2011. Tom holds the position of Chairman for the reFOCUS Newsletter as well as being a member of the Events Committee and Safety Committee. His community involvement includes Past Presidency for the Bradford Union Lodge #749, Orak Grotto Endowment Chairman, McKean County Shrine Club and the Roadrunner Secretary / Go-Kart Driver. When asked what Tom likes most about Futures he explained, "The interaction with our participants and their contagious and uplifting happiness and positive attitudes." Education He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh while receiving the Dale Carnegie Training Course Highest Award of Achievement.
