HUTTERITE PORK

We take pride in our pork. We produce a truly natural, healthy, small farm happy pig. You can rest assured that you get the best and the highest quality of pork when you purchase the Hutterite pork!... Hutterites are German-speaking farmers that emigrated from Europe to the Dakotas and Montana in the 1880's. For over one and a third centuries, we have maintained our traditional sustainable agriculture practices. We live and work semi-collectively raising and manufacturing most of all our products on our family style farms. We do not employ outside employees... Each Montana Hutterites' farm has 300 to 400 sows. We produce most of the feed on our farms and sell our pork products mostly to California. Because we live in an isolated area, we have very few disease problems in our pigs and produce a truly, natural, small farm happy pig. We also produce chickens, eggs, milk, beef, lamb and produce in a family-farm style just like the earlier settlers did.
