Carmen Gonzalez

Carmen Gonzalez has been at the IMSMP since 2010. Prior to joining the Center, she worked at an international trading company as an Executive Administrative Assistant for twenty years. In 2011, Carmen became the New Patient Coordinator at the IMSMP. She speaks to all potential new patients and their family members during an initial call to the practice. Carmen finds the position very rewarding, as she is able to discuss the comprehensive services for multiple sclerosis offered at the IMSMP, which provide faith and hope to many new patients. Carmen was promoted to Senior Executive Assistant in January 2017.

James McKee

James McKee, RN began his career in nursing as an oncology nurse with a specialty in chemotherapy administration. After 20 years as an oncology nurse, James took his IV expertise and transitioned those skills into managing and treating patients with multiple sclerosis. James has been a committed Nurse Manager of the infusion suite at the IMSMP for the past 11 years and continually provides excellent patient care as do his team of highly credentialed infusion nurses. It is our goal at the IMSMP infusion suite to offer the highest quality, experienced infusion care for our patients and their families.

James W. Stark

James W. Stark, MD is a board-certified neurologist at the IMSMP. He received his bachelor's degree with distinction from Boston University and completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Originally from New York, he continued at Einstein for his neurology residency training and was designated a chief resident of neurology during his final year. Dr. Stark then completed a two-year neuroimmunology fellowship at the Tisch MS Research Center of New York with Dr. Sadiq. Dr. Stark has been featured on Everydayhealth.com offering expert advice on MS symptoms and relapses. In addition to patient care, Dr. Stark serves as the Director of Clinical Trials at the IMSMP and has presented clinical research on MS at numerous medical conferences. In 2019, Dr. Stark was elected a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Neurology (FAAN). This outstanding achievement recognizes the contributions Dr. Stark has made to the Academy and to the neurology community. To receive this prestigious honor, accomplishments both academically and clinically were taken into consideration. These include the publication of papers and representations at national meetings as well as consistent and significant service in the area of clinical neurology which goes above and beyond and promotes the neurosciences.

Margaret Calarco

Margaret Calarco began her career at the Center in February 2001 as a front office secretary. Shortly after, she was promoted to office supervisor. When Dr. Sadiq was appointed Chair of Neurology at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center, Margaret became his Executive Assistant. Within two years, Margaret was promoted to office manager for the Center while holding the Executive Assistant to the Chairman position. In 2006, Margaret was instrumental in the move to 521 West 57th Street and the opening of the IMSMP. It was at that time she was promoted to Practice Director. She recently celebrated 15 years at the Center.
