DANIEL LOH - Chief Strategy Officer

Daniel joined iAPPS as Chief Strategy Officer in 2016, and has been responsible for iAPPS' regional development and strategic planning. Daniel graduated from Glasgow University (UK) with an MSc in IT. He started his career as a software specialist with Creative Technology, and has been working in technology companies as a senior management staff for the past 20 years. In 1997, Daniel joined a local startup - Network Integration Systems Pte Ltd. He was key in the successful implementation of Internet B2B and B2C systems and strategies for online community building. He also managed the operations of the company as COO until the company was acquired by a multinational company, Sterling Commerce, where he continued to head the Professional Services Division. Daniel also lived and worked in China for a number of years, during which he helped a Singapore B2B Internet solutions provider, PracBiz Pte Ltd, register and set up a software development arm in Nanjing. Under his leadership, the team grew and a strategic partnership was established with Nanjing University for joint software development.

DEREK LOW

Job Titles:
  • Creative Director
Derek has been with iAPPS since its inception in 2012. He works on the creative aspects of all of iAPPS' projects, including UI/UX, website design, graphic design, and video animation. Prior to joining iAPPS, Derek has had several years of experience in creative design. Most notably, he was the UI/UX Designer, Digital Artist, and Animator at ShowNearby Pte Ltd (later Global ShowNearby Pte Ltd) before he became the Creative Director at iAPPS.

EVONNE TANG - COO

  • Chief Operating Officer
Evonne has been with iAPPS since its inception in 2012, and now oversees departments in human resource, sales, and project management. She has a Diploma in Information Technology, as well as a Degree in Computing (Systems Development). Prior to joining iAPPS, Evonne was with Agility Logistics Services Pte Ltd from 2007 to 2010, first as the EDI Technical Consultant and later the APR EDI Manager. Before joining Agility, she worked at Sterling Commerce (now IBM) for eleven years. Altogether, Evonne has been in the IT industry for twenty years, and has extensive experience in project management, sales, presales, managed services and back office operations, having worked on numerous projects with companies like Nike and Procter & Gamble.

LILIAN KOH - CEO

Since 2012, Lilian has helmed iAPPS Pte Ltd as the founding Chairman and CEO. She is an IT and infocomm veteran with 30 years' experience, including nearly a decade of working on large scale computerisation projects for the Singapore government. She is also a senior member of the Singapore Computer Society. In 1994, she founded Network Integration Systems & iCommerce (NIS Group) that successfully developed one of the world's first Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) over the Internet; developed Singapore's first Internet commerce management system in 1995; and received the SingaporeONE Pioneer Award in 1997 for the first B2B2C supermarket e-commerce system for Cold Storage. NIS Group was subsequently acquired in 1998 by Sterling Commerce, which is now part of IBM. Lilian was a finalist of ASME Netrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001. She co-developed curriculum and lectured for National University of Singapore's Institute of Logistics' RFID Master Class programme; and launched together the RFID/Internet of Things Summit with Thailand's Ministry of Information and Communication in 2006 . She served as a judge for Singapore's inaugural e-Government Excellence Awards in 2013, which was jointly organised by Singapore's Ministry of Finance and Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore. Lilian was recognised by The Singapore Women's Weekly magazine as one of the ‘Great Women of Our Time 2015' for her "outstanding career achievements and contributions to society in science and technology" .

SAM KOH - CTO

Job Titles:

Sam has over 24 years of IT experience across a vast variety of domain areas including Network Infrastructure and IT Security, application development, audit, compliance, System Integration, managed services, solution consulting, and new technology/application assessment. Prior to joining iAPPS, Sam worked at GlobalFoundries as the Global IT Application Deputy Director and managed an average portfolio of US$6 million per year for application investment. He was also in charge of 60 staff who worked in different parts of the world. Since joining iAPPS, Sam has been managing iAPPS's technical teams in Singapore, China, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
