Captain Jon has worked in Sitka's guided sportfish industry since 2000. He loves fishing and it shows! He comes highly recommended with excellent reviews from past charter guests due to his first rate service and skills as a sport fishing guide in Sitka.
During the off-season, Jon spends his time fishing and hunting for fun. He and his wife, Dana, make Sitka their home year round.

Owner Kevin McNamee probably never dreamed that being on the ocean for the first time would change his life, but it did. He traveled far from his small midwestern town to take on the adventure of a charter deckhand job in Sitka. What started off as a way to pay for college turned into a way of life. Now, over 20 years later, Kevin continues to make his living on the water in Sitka by operating IslandView Resort & Charters, LLC.
Mara has been running the IslandView lodge office for quite a few seasons now and she sure keeps things organized around here! She manages the lodge crew during the summers, ensures the office is running smoothly and she coordinates all your hospitality needs throughout your trip with us. Mara was born & raised in Sitka and continues to raise her two children here. We are happy and very fortunate to have her on board with us!
Captain Reed worked at IslandView as a deckhand for 3 years before being offered the job as Captain. He definitely knows all the successful angling secrets and fishing grounds that Sitka has to offer. His passion for being on the water and his love for fishing is something he loves to share with his anglers. Reed's attention to detail and desire to catch fish makes him a great team player.
