Previous research on the factors that affect the pursuit of careers in transportation, with particular attention to the recruitment of female candidates resulted in a number of questions. The present research results using a hierarchical stepwise regression analysis provided data on the relative contribution of occupational values, social support, and self-efficacy as they affect career choice for jobs in transportation.
