MacNaughtonGroup is a small closely held business started in 1968. From that date until April of 1989, our primary focus was on Naval Architecture, concentrating on the design of state-of-the-art offshore and liveaboard sailing yachts and boats for the home builder... MacNaughton Yacht Designs is a yacht design firm with a worldwide clientele. We produce custom and stock designs primarily for the serious cruising person and small commercial operator. We also offer a number of marine publications, marine art, a catalog for the liveaboard yachtsman, and a yacht design school. We do a limited amount of brokerage of cruising boats. We stress personal attention and answer questions without charge... In the spring of 1989 we purchased a boatyard in Eastport, Maine and communism collapsed all over the world. We ran this yard until selling it in spring of 1999 when we found that our design business, MacNaughton Yacht Designs, and our school of yacht and small craft naval architecture,Yacht..
