In the late 90s, the retail store was forced to relocate again, however, this time we did not seek a new retail location but embarked on the new wave of the future: mail order. Currently, Maison Glass is operating solely as a mail-order distributor of its selection of domestic specialties, private label, and international products featuring the foods of the world. Of course, the products purveyed are quite extensive - caviar, foie gras, truffles, smoked Scottish salmon, game, cheeses, pates, Virginia hams, nuts, chocolates, candies, preserves, honeys, mustards, oils, vinegars, herbs, spices, coffees, teas, biscuits, cookies, crackers - just to name a few... Maison Glass, a world-class gastronomic emporium, was founded in 1902 by Ernest H. E. Glass, a fiery red-headed Parisian who came to New York to bring French delicacies to the United States.
