Andrew M. Glucksman

Andrew Glucksman, PMP and LEED AP serves as the Natural Resources Practice Lead and is responsible for project management and technical project completion. Andrew has over 21 years of technical experience in environmental science and helps agencies navigate complex federal, state, and local regulations to help agencies address and achieve their mission objectives. Andrew manages project delivery and resourcing for NEPA projects, overseeing internal and team professionals including wetland biologists, environmental planners, cultural resource specialists, wildlife biologists, GIS analysts, permitting specialists, and hydrogeologists. He addresses impacts related to federal and state jurisdictional wetlands, federal- and state-listed wildlife, traffic, noise, visual aesthetics, contaminated sites, cultural resources, air quality, coastal zone consistency, water quality, cumulative impacts, and permit compliance. As part of the NEPA process, Andrew coordinates with federal agencies including USACE, USFWS, NOAA, ACHP, FAA, and others to address federal regulations and executive orders, as well as state, and local agency, Native American, and community stakeholders. Andrew also supports Mabbett's Site Assessment & Remediation Group on field programs to identify baseline environmental conditions, including Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments and projects requiring incremental sampling methodology. Andrew has successfully completed NEPA projects from New York to Puerto Rico, California, and Alaska for agencies including the US Department of Veterans Affairs, USACE Baltimore, USACE New York, the Missile Defense Agency, and the Food and Drug Administration.

Arthur N. Mabbett - CEO, Chairman

Arthur is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mabbett & Associates, Inc. with direct responsibility for overall company management, strategic planning, financial and general administration. Arthur also serves as a Senior Project Manager and project team member for EH&S technical input, as required. As an Environmental Scientist and Engineer, Arthur has over 40 years of experience in the fields of environmental auditing and permitting, industrial waste management, site assessment and restoration, pollution prevention, environmental pollution control, and occupational safety and health. Prior to establishing Mabbett in 1980, he was an Associate and founded the Health and Environment Group of a major Cambridge based architectural-engineering firm, and also served as an Environmental Sciences Officer/Consultant at the US Army Environmental Hygiene Agency, the US Army Academy of Health Sciences and the US Army Hawaii/Tripler Army Medical Center. As a Major in the US Army Reserve, Arthur served as a Special Assistant for Occupational and Environmental Health in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Washington, DC.

Jason T. Lorenzetti

Jason Lorenzetti, PE, serves as Practice Lead for Mabbett's Site Assessment and Restoration (SAR) practice. As Practice Lead, Jason is responsible for leading project delivery efforts, developing and maintaining our technical excellence, providing mentorship to our staff, and heading up our SAR business development. Jason brings twenty years' experience managing hazardous waste sites, conducting CERCLA investigations, risk assessments, designing and implementing site remedies to protect human health and the environment. He has extensive experience providing technical expertise and solutions to remote sites in the United States and abroad, with a focus on environmental impact in developing counties in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia. Jason manages a highly skilled team of environmental engineers, professional geologists, environmental scientists, and environmental technicians. His projects focus on assessing impacts from historical operations and disposal activities, determining the nature of identified hazardous wastes, and the potential for those hazards to impact human health and ecological receptors in the area. Specializing in the CERCLA program and supporting state cleanup programs, Jason coordinates with federal agencies, the EPA, state regulators, and community stakeholders to identify hazards, develop a plan to remedy the impacts, and implement the cleanup.

Michael F. Delaney

Michael serves as the Building Sciences Practice Lead at Mabbett, strategically leading and managing the group and providing project management, technical oversight and hands-on regulated building material (RBM) assessments, abatement design and construction administration services. He manages a diverse team of industrial hygiene professionals that includes certified and licensed asbestos inspectors, management planners, designers, project monitors, lead inspectors and indoor air quality (IAQ) professionals. Michael has over twenty years of experience in RBM and has designed over $5M of hazardous materials abatement and regularly serves as a Project Manager on complex Federal contracts with the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), as well as National Laboratories and private clients.

Michele J. Calvani

As the Vice President of Finance & Accounting with 35 years of finance and accounting experience, she is responsible for the overall management of corporate and project accounting for the firm. Michele has extensive experience providing finance and accounting support to projects in the public and private sectors and has a keen understanding of the specific accounting and financial requirements of the Federal government and is able to deliver consistent and reliable financial support. She manages and maintains accurate and consistent internal controls, processes, and policies leading to "no exceptions found", annual financial audits.

Nicole K. Burnett

As the Group Director of Marketing & Proposal Development and 23 years of experience in marketing and business development, Nicole is responsible for the management of day-to-day marketing and business development activities at Mabbett. Her focus is on increasing brand awareness and company growth, while leading and managing the seamless execution of major federal, state and municipal proposal efforts, including pre-proposal strategy, win themes, overall team coordination, writing, editing, and production management. Nicole manages all marketing efforts, including our eMarketing corporate plan. In addition, she maintains all corporate marketing materials, including writing and editing, updating resumes, project descriptions, and presentations for consistent company brand image. She is active in business development networking events, including conferences, meetings, and professional development seminars.

Paul D. Steinberg

Paul serves as the Chief Growth & Business Development Officer and is responsible for the overall day-to-day management of Mabbett's marketing and business development programs. Paul has 37 years of technical experience in environmental engineering, planning and management and serves as a Senior Program Manager for select Federal contracts with the US Environmental Protection Agency, US Army Corps of Engineers and US Department of Veterans Affairs. Paul has extensive experience in hazardous waste site restoration, environmental engineering and planning, and NEPA compliance. He has successfully managed major environmental site restoration and redevelopment programs. Paul has supported clients in areas of due diligence, pollution control system design and permitting, regulatory negotiations and return to compliance programs, and site investigation and remediation.

Robert B. Blanchette

As Group Director of Engineering and Infrastructure at Mabbett, Robert Blanchette, Jr., PE, is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic growth plan for the Engineering & Infrastructure Group, ensuring the quality of deliverables developed by the Engineering and Building Sciences practices, and providing opportunities for career development to members of the group. Bob is a licensed Professional Engineer (Civil) with 26 years of experience in civil engineering providing technical expertise in site development, site remediation, design-build projects, construction projects, and feasibility study projects in accordance with federal, state, local government, and client-specific criteria. Bob oversees multidiscipline design teams, preparing design plans, specifications, and project narratives outlining key design elements and how the design will be implemented. His experience also includes construction inspection services, including review of contractor submittals and shop drawings, site visits to ensure compliance with design documents, and developing revised designs when needed.

Susan S. Smits - SVP

As a Senior Vice President with 30 years of environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) consulting, engineering, and project management experience, Susan oversees overall support to Mabbett's largest Federal client - the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). To date, Mabbett has served over 100 VA Medical Centers and over 100 VA National Cemeteries with VA prime contract awards totally over $28M in the last ten years. Susan serves as a Program Manager for several large VA contracts as well as contracts with the U.S. Missile Defense Agency, General Services Administration, and Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining Mabbett in 2000, Susan served nine years as a Bioenvironmental Engineer Officer in the US Air Force. She was assigned to four Air Force installations where she directed the bases' industrial hygiene, environmental protection, and radiation protection programs.
