Beth Eisenhower

Education Middlebury College, Bachelor of Arts, Major in History of Art and Architecture, 2003 University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts, Master of Science in Architecture, 2007 Beth is a project architect and project manager at Maclay Architects and focuses on commercial and institutional projects. She enjoys solving complicated design problems and preparing construction documents sets. Beth is a registered architect in the state of Massachusetts and a LEED BD+C accredited professional.

Brent McDonnell

Education Philadelphia University Brent is a Project Designer at Maclay Architects. After graduating from Philadelphia University in 2015, Brent worked for a series of Vermont firms before working abroad in 2019. After returning, Brent began working with Maclay Architects in February 2023, in pursuit of participating in creating buildings that best benefit both humans and their surrounding environment. Brent has recently started helping with modeling and design of projects at Maclay Architects, striving to learn and implement efficiencies in energy usage of each building, as well as in the workflow that goes into the creation of each project itself. Brent lives in an energy efficient tiny home he and his wife built in 2022. He enjoys working on projects around the house, prototyping through 3D printing, and spending time outdoors with his dog and wife.

Gina Basiliere

Education Norwich University Gina is a student at Norwich University where she is studying for her Masters of Architecture. She studied Sustainable Building and Ecological Design at Sterling College for her undergrad. Gina grew up in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. She has worked as a cabinet maker, builder, and chair maker, giving her a range of perspectives on how different aspects of the built environment work together. Gina plans on working towards licensure after graduating with her masters. She is dedicated towards building and designing buildings that are an integrated into their landscape and provide healthy, sustainable, and regenerative spaces.

Jennie Lumbra

Marc has been designing and managing projects at Maclay Architects for almost 20 years. He has been involved in almost every project since then. His passion is transforming ideas into architecture & art for clients and his award winning team.

William Maclay

Bill has created many significant model projects including NRG Systems, the Aiken Building at UVM, the Bennington State Courthouse and Offices, and Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. While these may be the most recognizable models, we see every project at every scale, budget, and aspiration, as a model project-an opportunity to demonstrate the best future we can offer-to find new ways to create a future that is productive, satisfying, healthy, empowering, and inspiring. Bill has served on numerous boards, including the Vermont Businesses for Social Responsibility, Yestermorrow Design Build School, AIA VT as president, and local planning boards. Bill and Maclay Architects have received much recognition with certifications, awards, speaking, writing, videos, and Fellowship in the AIA. He is grateful and indebted to the many collaborators he has been fortunate enough to work with-including, clients, members of his office team, consultants, builders, fellow leaders in ecological design, and the large community of people who are working for a better world and future.
