Ammad is an experienced Chartered Accountant with a proven track record in accounting practice. He kickstarted his career at KPMG, London, gaining expertise in Indirect Tax Laws & Regulations, Corporate Tax & Regulatory Compliance, Financial Reporting, Cash Flow, External and Internal Audit, Business Planning, Business Valuation, and Financial Modelling. Throughout his career, Ammad has undertaken internal control review assignments, reviewed and prepared financial statements following IFRSs and UK GAAPs, conducted internal and external audits including SRA and FCA audits, and provided tax planning for intricate corporate tax structures. His professional journey has encompassed numerous transactions and clients across London, UK, and Dubai, UAE. Currently based in Dubai, UAE, Ammad leads the UAE office.
Ben Newport is a highly accomplished and seasoned professional with over 10 years of extensive experience in the ASX investor relations industry. Ben's journey in the investor relations industry began in 2014 at HotCopper, where he quickly rose through the ranks, showcasing his exceptional knowledge and dedication. This remarkable ascent led to his appointment as CEO of the then publicly list company in 2017 during which he successfully guided the company to unprecedented growth and success. This experience provided him with a strategic mindset, honed leadership skills, and a passion for achieving organizational objectives. One of the cornerstones of Ben's success lies in his extensive network and the high level of regard he commands in the industry. Known for being approachable and well-liked, he has cultivated strong relationships with industry professionals, decision-makers, investors, and influencers. With over 30 years of international finance, David brings a wealth of experience to Montpellier. David has extensive knowledge of the Middle East having worked in the region from 1992 to 2000, where he was responsible for establishing a Qatar country presence for a rapidly growing finance company. Since 2000 David established and ran a successful finance brokerage in Spain prior to returning to the UK to concentrate on finance and funds in the international market.
Khalid Al Halyan has over 30 years senior level experience in several industries and is currently the group Chief Audit Executive at Dubai Aviation City Corporation (DACC). He started his career at the UAE Central Bank and moved to the Department of Economic Development (DED) in Dubai before joining the aviation industry in 1996; initially to establish the new Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA) and head up the Finance Department, before moving on to establish the Group Internal Audit & Risk Assessment (GIARA) function at DACC. He has been involved in establishing DED, Emaar Properties, the UAE Internal Audit Association, the UAE Golf Association, and worked on restructuring projects for DUBAL,Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai Civil Aviation, UAE Central Bank Banking Supervision, and realized the construction of a new facility for the Al Noor Special Needs Centre in Dubai.
Based in Dubai Dr Routledge has spent more than 33 years overseas as an agricultural consultant providing a wide range of international development assistance services to deliver effective and comprehensive solutions to production, planning and management situations across the food security, agriculture and livestock industries. Stewart is currently working with various Middle East SWFs for investing for food security in Australian agriculture production enterprises. His liaisons include national and local government agencies and institutions, private sector companies and all the major international development organisations.
As Chief Executive Office of Montpellier, Stuart has over 25 years of international business experience including from 1989 to 2001 as the Chairman and Managing Director of Professional Investment Consultants (PIC) based in Dubai. PIC grew from a start-up office and two consultants to sixteen offices and over one hundred consultants worldwide. Since 2001 Stuart has held numerous executive positions on various company boards within the Middle East, United Kingdom and Australia. He offers clients his extensive knowledge and network of international connections. Stuart's strong business management capabilities and entrepreneurial style bring a wealth of skills to identify growth opportunities and offer appropriate introductions to relevant contact parties in the Middle East region. Stuart has assisted with the transaction of capital raisings on various AIM and ASX mining listed companies with project values well in excess of US$4 billion.
