Alicia Haygood-Haley joined Moody Law Group in 2021 as a legal assistant and paralegal. She brings over 17 years of experience in the legal industry, assisting in a variety of practice areas. Alicia enjoys the ability to look at challenges as opportunities. Alicia also believes that helping others as a team member always proves to be beneficial to the client. An Arizonan at heart and sports enthusiast, Alicia is a tremendous fan of the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns and University of Arizona Wildcats. 

Dorothy Adams

Dorothy Adams joined Moody Law Group in 2021 as a paralegal. She brings more than 20 years of valuable experience in assisting attorneys in areas of law including real estate transactions, civil litigation and insurance defense. Dorothy enjoys working on transactions to help keep them running smoothly, benefitting our clients and our team. Dorothy and her husband have raised three beautiful daughters and are active members of their church, where Dorothy serves on the praise and worship team, the choir and community outreach and is a newly appointed board member. To unwind, Dorothy enjoys activities that allow her to express her good sense of humor and love of romantic movies.

John S. Moody Jr.

John S. Moody, Jr., is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has extensive experience in real estate development, leasing, acquisitions, sales and financing. He represents developers, owners, families, financial institutions, investors, retailers and private equity funds in acquisitions, sales, development, leasing, financing and construction of all types of real estate.

Julie Barry

Julie Barry is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and practices extensively in the area of transaction law, focusing primarily on the representation of small and midsized enterprises. Her practice includes representation of purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of businesses and real estate, lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial and real estate loans, and landlords and tenants in connection with leasing matters.

Kelly Beaudry

Kelly Beaudry is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She started her career working in public relations in New York and Austin. Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Texas and went to law school at the University of Houston Law Center, where she concentrated her studies on real estate, corporate and probate law. After law school, she practiced law at Brackett & Ellis, P.C., in Fort Worth, Texas, where she continued her focus on real estate and business law. In 2011, Kelly moved to Houston and began practicing real estate law at Moody Law Group, where she enjoys working with clients on a range of real estate transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, land development, leasing, and loan-related work. In her downtime, she enjoys spending time with her husband and twin boys (often trying to keep up with her sons on the tennis court) and traveling. 

Lena Engel

Lena Engel represents clients in a variety of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales and development, frequently involving financing and lease-related issues. Her practice also includes advising clients in general business transactions, such as procurement of goods and services and drafting and negotiating contractor agreements. Before joining Moody Law Group, Lena represented school districts and other educational entities in real estate, general business and governance matters, with extensive experience in land acquisition and development and business transactions relating to construction, IT infrastructure and intellectual property. Prior to her legal career, Lena worked in business and project management for various Fortune 500 companies. Renee Zeller

Renee Zeller joined Moody Law Group in 2017 as a senior paralegal. Before joining Moody Law Group, Renee spent 17 years with Academy Sports + Outdoors in various roles and most recently as the Director of Legal Assistants. Before her career with Academy, she also worked as a paralegal with Baker Hughes and Bracewell & Patterson. She draws on invaluable years of real estate and commercial transaction experience to provide efficient and cost-effective project management and support to our clients and attorneys.   Renee enjoys following her own real estate interests in owning and operating rental properties, as well as running her family's cattle operation in Fayette County, Texas. 

Robert (Bob) C. Walker

Robert (Bob) Walker is a seasoned commercial real estate attorney with decades of experience. His practice includes representation of banks and lenders in various aspects of commercial lending, including construction and mini-perm loans for real estate projects such as apartments, condominiums, retail shopping centers, medical office buildings and surgical centers. His work also includes handling term loans for the purchase and sale of real estate, term loans secured by ship or fleet mortgages, unsecured credit facilities, asset-based lending facilities and syndicated credit facilities. Bob also represents commercial real estate developers in projects such as apartments, condominiums, retail shopping centers and medical office buildings.
