Liz Radtke

Job Titles:
  • Creative Director
This life-long artist geeks out on Star Trek and ren faires. Liz is always looking for the next adventure and adores all animals. The volume of podcasts about the world, science, and the human condition she listens to is almost unreasonable. Almost. Liz graduated from Texas Woman's University in 2009, and continued working in-house with the HR company where she had interned. Eventually, Liz decided to take a step back and carve her own path as a freelance graphic designer. After freelancing for a bit, Liz decided she wanted to focus on just the creative side of things. She came to the little MMC office on Main Street in Old Town Lewisville, and immediately clicked with the team. It was love at first sight. Following her interview, she promised to bake a pie for the team if they hired her. It was apple. Liz was hired as a graphic designer and a little over a year later was promoted to be MMC's first ever Creative Director when Mixed Media Creations had blossomed, and quadrupled in size. Liz and her husband, Brian, currently live near Lewisville Lake. They enjoy spending time with each other and their dog, Scooter, walking the trails, playing Frisbee, and poking around the woods to find cool native plants. She also enjoys binge-watching Netflix and illustrating. A few years ago, she partnered with an author/friend to illustrate his book: Dō - Pilgrims of the Flying Temple.
Now, Liz loves the feeling of looking at a project and knowing that MMC did an amazing job. She's not in it for the awards. She simply loves looking at the work her team produces and knowing they crafted something wonderful.

Paul Phillips

Job Titles:
  • Lead Photographer
Lover of the great outdoors, Paul enjoys traveling with his family and photography. If he's not cooking Cajun or Tex-Mex, you can find him dominating the Links or watching movies. Paul Phillips is our amazing photographer pro, and a seasoned soup connoisseur. He was born, raised, and has yet to leave the Dallas area. He currently resides in Flower Mound with his wonderful wife of 17 years and 14-year-old son. Nature aficionados at heart, Paul and his family love to spend time together camping and doing truly any activity that's outdoors. Of course, it's only fitting that in the Boy Scouts of America, Paul achieved the rank of a Life Scout. He learned to cook, shoot, and rescue anyone in any situation. The Scouts helped sustain his love of nature and science. Growing up, Paul wanted to shoot feature films, but he only had access to his parents still-photo cameras, no motion video. Ever the innovator, young Paul would take photos and arrange them to tell fantastic narratives, much like a story board for a film. When Paul was just starting out, he attended UNT for painting and drawing. However, he soon found himself switching majors to pursue his passion for photography. After graduating, he launched his own business taking photos and videos at events and weddings, where he ran the show for 10 years before joining the MMC family.
