MIDDLETON LODGE

Brought back to life by the Allison family, Middleton Lodge is a 200-acre privately owned estate located near Richmond, North Yorkshire. Elegant and enchanting, it's the perfect place for a relaxing countryside escape, and somewhere to taste the seasons at sustainability-conscious restaurants. Memories can also be made here in one of the exclusive event spaces which host private celebrations and dream wedding days. Over the past 16 years the Allisons have transformed the estate's walled gardens, farmhouse and outbuildings, which are now home to two award-winning restaurants, a 30-bedroom hotel, two self-catered cottages and two treatment rooms - all carefully dotted in hamlets amongst the private meadows, gardens and parkland. Each individually designed space takes inspiration from the two-acre walled garden, which was redesigned by Tom Stuart-Smith in 2014. The restoration is ongoing.
