Aaron Ball is senior vice president and co-head of New York Life's Foundational Business. Mr. Ball leads the retail product solutions, service, purchase experience, underwriting and marketing teams. He joined New York Life in February 2015 as the Long-Term Care Solutions business leader and was appointed to New York Life's Executive Management Committee in September 2020.
Prior to joining New York Life, Mr. Ball served from 2003 to 2015 as senior vice president with Genworth Financial, where he led the company's long-term care in-force business and new product development efforts and provided legal and regulatory expertise as general counsel for several of the company's insurance businesses. From 2000 to 2003, he served as vice president and chief compliance officer of AmSouth Investment Services. Before joining AmSouth, Mr. Ball was senior vice president and chief legal officer for M&T Brokerage.
Mr. Ball earned a BA from Loyola College in Maryland, and a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is a graduate of the executive leadership program at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. In addition, he serves as a member of the board for LIMRA and LOMA, the Eluna Network, and LTC Reinsurance PCC. Alex Cook is senior vice president and head of Strategic Capabilities at New York Life, and he is responsible for enterprise technology, corporate development and strategy, artificial intelligence and data, and New York Life Ventures, the company's venture capital arm. Mr. Cook is focused on driving strategic growth, innovation, and data-based decision making through better technology, data, and analytics. Mr. Cook joined New York Life in 2010 as managing director of strategy for the Investments Division, and then he became head of Corporate Strategy from 2012 to 2014. Amanda Kuhl is senior vice president and head of the Purchase Experience at New York Life. In this role, Ms. Kuhl is responsible for leading the strategy, modernization, and operations of the end-to-end purchase experience across all of New York Life's product solutions, including life insurance, long-term care, disability, annuities, and investment solutions.
Ms. Kuhl joined New York Life in 2005 as part of the Actuarial Development Program. She held multiple actuarial roles of increasing responsibility, including leading the pricing of the company's Retail Life insurance and Institutional Life insurance products, and leading the team responsible for the product management and sales support functions of New York Life's Retail Life Insurance products.
Most recently, she was the head of Life Insurance Solutions, where she oversaw the updating of our retail life product portfolio, led the launch our new Wealth Plus series of products, and introduced our new term life product portfolio. She began her career at Mercer HR Consulting.

Amy Miller is senior vice president, deputy general counsel, and secretary of New York Life Insurance Company. Ms. Miller works with a broad variety of stakeholders to support the delivery of the company's strategic priorities.
As secretary, she provides the Board of Directors and senior management with strategic counsel on a variety of corporate governance matters. She also oversees the Corporate Responsibility and Corporate Events departments. In January 2024, Ms. Miller was appointed to the Executive Management Committee. Anthony Malloy is executive vice president and chief investment officer of New York Life Insurance Company, responsible for investment strategy, asset allocation, and management of the company's assets. Mr. Malloy is also the chief executive officer of NYL Investors, the firm's insurance asset management subsidiary. He was appointed to New York Life's Executive Management Committee in January 2017.
Mr. Malloy joined New York Life in 1999 and has more than 35 years of investment management and financial services experience. Craig DeSanto is Chair, President & CEO of New York Life Insurance Company, the nation's largest mutual life insurer. Mr. DeSanto was appointed to New York Life's Executive Management Committee in January 2017 and has served as president since July 2020 and as a member of the company's Board of Directors since February 2021. Mr. DeSanto joined New York Life in 1997 as an actuarial summer intern. Joel Albarella is Senior Vice President and Head of New York Life Ventures (NYL Ventures), New York Life's corporate venture capital business.

Mark Madgett is executive vice president & co-head of the Foundational Business. He is specifically responsible for New York Life's career Agency distribution system, which comprises more than 12,000 agents affiliated with 115 General Offices across the country, as well as many of the business units that provide strategy and support for the company's agents and field managers. He was appointed to New York Life's Executive Management Committee in December 2015.
Mr. Madgett joined New York Life as an agent in 1986. He entered management in 1992 and became managing partner of the Seattle General Office in 1998. Under his leadership, the Seattle General Office became one of the strongest agencies in the company and a perpetual leader in agent retention, among other areas. As a managing partner, Mr. Madgett was widely acknowledged as a leader among his peers and was twice elected to serve as chair of the Managing Partners Advisory Council. He is a lifetime member of the Partner's Round Table. Mr. Madgett joined the Home Office leadership team and was named senior vice president in September 2014. Mike McDonnell is senior vice president and general counsel of New York Life Insurance Company. In that role, Mr. McDonnell has oversight of the company's Corporate Compliance Department, Office of Governmental Affairs, and Office of the General Counsel.
He joined New York Life in 2013 as an Associate General Counsel supporting the company's insurance businesses. Naïm Abou-Jaoudé serves as the Chief Executive Officer of New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). A multi-boutique third-party asset management business, NYLIM is part of New York Life Investments (NYLI), which oversees more than $600 billion in assets.
Previously, Mr. Abou-Jaoudé was the CEO of Candriam from 2007 to 2023, one of NYLIM's affiliates. During his tenure as CEO, he guided the company through its 2014 acquisition by New York Life and subsequent rebranding to Candriam. He successfully strengthened its position as a leader in sustainable investing, doubling its assets under management through geographic expansion across Europe, Asia, and the U.S. In addition, under Mr. Abou-Jaoudé's leadership, Candriam further diversified its position through a number of acquisitions and partnerships in the European alternative space, including Kartesia and Tristan Capital Partners.
Today, Candriam is one of the fastest growing players in the European asset management industry. With over 30 years of experience in asset management, Mr. Abou-Jaoudé has held various leadership roles, including Alternative Fund Manager at Credit Agricole and UBS Asset Management, and Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Dexia Asset Management, Candriam's predecessor.
Since 2015, he has chaired New York Life Investment Management International, responsible for expanding the company's activities outside the U.S., and serves on NYLIM's Management Committee.

Scott Berlin is senior vice president of New York Life's Group Insurance businesses, which include Group Benefit Solutions (GBS) and Group Membership Association Division (GMAD). GBS is a leader in the market for group life, accident and disability insurance, and absence management services to primarily mid-to-large size employers. GMAD provides insurance - primarily life insurance and disability income insurance - to members of affinity groups.
Mr. Berlin joined New York Life as an actuarial trainee in 1990. In 1996, he joined the Individual Life department, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including senior vice president in charge of the Individual Life department. He was named Chief Financial Officer of New York Life Enterprises in 2010, where he was responsible for overseeing financial results of all Enterprises' international and domestic businesses. Mr. Berlin also led the Institutional Life business, most recently from 2019 to 2021. In 2023, a newly appointed head of GMAD began reporting to Mr. Berlin.

Sheila Kearney Davidson is executive vice president and chief legal & administrative officer of New York Life Insurance Company. Todd Taylor is senior vice president and Head of Life Insurance Solutions, a key part of the company's Foundational Business. In this role, he is responsible for leading product development and management, strategy, third-party distribution and operations, and inforce optimization for the retail life product portfolio. He also oversees the company's Business Solutions organization, which provides group and individual insurance solutions to small businesses.
Prior to this role, Todd was Head of Retail Annuities, where he led one of the company's largest profit centers, including strategy, product development, marketing, and operations, as well as third-party sales and service. During his tenure, he led the business to the top position in the industry in 2022, surpassing $22 billion in sales. Todd joined New York Life in 2008 and has had roles of increasing responsibility across the insurance and annuity businesses and corporate areas, including pricing and product development, financial projections and planning, and corporate strategy and internal consulting.
He has authored a number of articles and whitepapers on retirement topics, including those on the value of annuities in retirement income strategies, the impact of behavioral economics on retiree spending behavior, and healthcare expenditures in retirement. He also holds a patent for a retirement product allocation framework (the "Efficient Income Frontier").
Todd graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economic Analysis and Math, summa cum laude, from Binghamton University and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
