OMAA was formed in 1958 for Chief Administrative Officers to assist in the promotion of better local government. The first meeting was attended by 10 CAOs. OMAA provides professional development, advocacy, networking opportunities, services, and additional support for Ontario CAOs and Aspiring CAOs... OMAA is pleased to partner with the #1 business school in the country, the Schulich School of Business at York University, to offer the CAO Leade..... OMAA was incorporated in 2018 and a By-law governs our work, including our role, our membership, responsibilities of our executive and procedural requirements. The By-Law was updated in 2024.
