Practicing in the valley since 1992, Dr. Lee Laris is the Medical Director and Chief Cosmetic Surgeon of Phoenix Skin.
Dr. Laris is highly trained in all areas of medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and has built a national reputation as a facial rejuvenation specialist. Dr. Laris is recognized for his use of minimal incision surgery, with a focus on restoring youth via less invasive methods such as Y Lift, mini face lift, laser resurfacing, botox, fat transfer/dermal fillers and hair transplantation. Dr. Laris is one of the first certified hair transplant surgeons by the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgeons.
Dr. Laris has been an Arizona Dermatologist for over 25 years.
Practicing in the valley since 1992, Dr. Lee Laris is the Medical Director and Chief Cosmetic Surgeon of Phoenix Skin Medical Surgical Group. Dr. Laris and his team of board-certified providers at Phoenix Skin Dermatology are experts in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Lee Laris, D.O. has been serving the Central Arizona area for over 25 years. Along the way, he has developed a national reputation for his use of minimal incision surgery and focuses on less invasive methods to rejuvenate the body. Dr. Laris built Phoenix Skin Medical Surgical Group with a mission to help patients. We are continually encouraged by kind words from past patients who received excellent results. Dr. Laris has received awards from numerous organizations including the Arizona Business Leaders Magazine, Arizona Foothills Magazine, and Ranking Arizona.
Dr. Nichelle Madden is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgeon. She received her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and Biology from the College of St. Benedict/St. Johns University in St. Joseph, MN. She went on to receive her medical degree from Des Moines University, College of Osteopathic Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Madden completed her internship at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Dermatology residency at Beaumont Hospital/Michigan State University, where she served as chief resident during her final year of training.
After residency, she pursued her passion for surgery by applying for additional training in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology. She was selected among her peers for the prestigious fellowship position at Dayton Skin in Dayton, OH. Dr. Heidi Donnelly served as her program director during her rigorous year of training. Dr. Madden was also appointed the position of fellow clinical instructor for the Wright State Dermatology Residency Program.
Dr. Madden has presented at regional and national dermatology meetings, published articles in the dermatologic literature and served as a resident liaison for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She is a current member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. In addition, she has attended medical missions practicing dermatology in the Peruvian Amazon and worked as a camp doctor at Camp Discovery, a summer camp for children with dermatologic conditions.
Outside of work, Dr. Madden enjoys the company of family and friends, traveling, and healthy cooking. In addition, she likes to stay active by running, biking, golfing, and snowboarding.

Elizabeth left her home-town of Portland, Oregon to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona in 2006, and now considers Phoenix her home. Elizabeth is a board-certified Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She received her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale.
As part of her degree studies, Elizabeth completed specialized clinical rotations in dermatology at Phoenix Skin Medical Surgical Group. Her formal medical training has included a focused dermatological training period under the direction of Dr. Lee Laris, including specialized training in surgical dermatologic procedures. Elizabeth also performs several cosmetic procedures including injections of Botox and fillers. She has a particular interest in skin cancer treatment and prevention.

Katherine Azar-Haworth received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA. She completed her physician assistant education at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where she graduated with a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS). During her master's clinical rotations, she specialized in dermatology and surgery. Her formal medical training focused on medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology under the direction of Dr. Lee Laris.
Katherine has been practicing dermatology with Phoenix Skin since January 2005. She is also skilled in numerous cosmetic procedures including Botox injections and fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm.
Outside of work, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and sons, traveling and hiking.

Michael Richards is a native Arizonan. He grew up in Casa Grande and later moved to Tempe to attend Arizona State University. Midway through his degree, he moved to Chicago and transferred to Midwestern University where he graduated in 1997 with honors from Midwestern with a Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduating, he moved back to Phoenix, accepting an adjunct faculty appointment with Midwestern University in Glendale as well his current position with Dr. Laris at Phoenix Skin Medical Surgical Group.
Michael completed an intensive six-month dermatological residency administered by Dr. Laris and various other valley dermatologists. He has been licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants to practice medicine since 1997.
Michael serves as a preceptor to various physician assistant programs across the country, educating students on a regular basis. When he is not at work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
Patrick is originally a native of Columbia, South Carolina. He completed his undergraduate degree at Arizona State University in 2016 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Patrick relocated to Roanoke, Virginia where he attended Radford University Carilion's Physician Assistant program. After graduating, he moved back to Phoenix to accept his current position with Dr. Laris at Phoenix Skin Medical Surgical Group. Patrick has been licensed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants to practice medicine since 2020. When he is not at work, he enjoys a passion for spending time with family and playing music.

Ramona Kiani is a doctoral prepared, board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Ramona earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Arizona State University in 2011. As a registered nurse she worked in a pediatric emergency department and level 1 trauma center for several years. Ramona continued her education and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Arizona State University in 2016. During her clinical rotations she quickly realized her passion was in dermatology.
