Jenifer Lee

Job Titles:
  • Member of the Park Avenue Dermatology Clinical Staff
Jenifer Lee has been a member of the Park Avenue Dermatology clinical staff since November of 2012, joining our team immediately upon her graduation from Nova Southeastern University in that same year. Because of her general competence and ability to quickly absorb and apply what she learned, Ms. Lee was eagerly hired after completing two separate clinical rotations under the tutelage of Dr. George J. Schmieder. A native of Jacksonville, FL, Ms. Lee is a 2008 graduate of Florida State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science with a minor in Chemistry. Upon graduating from Florida State, she remained in Tallahassee where her interest in dermatology first surfaced while working as a medical assistant in a dermatologist's office (2008-2010). The next step in the evolution of her career took place when she eventually applied for acceptance in to several Physician Assistant schools. Once accepted into Nova Southeastern University's outstanding PA Program, she never wavered from her desire to focus on the field of dermatology. Ms. Lee is an asset to our practice because of her skill in the practice of general dermatology, her proficiency with the Fraxel laser, and her exceedingly competent support of Park Avenue Dermatology's two Mohs surgeons. This outstanding professional is certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants, she is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Jenifer enjoys tennis, reading, fishing and golfing as well as spending time with her friends and family. Nothing is more valuable to me than making sure my patients feel like I spent enough time with them.

Julie Harrington

A native of Ormond Beach, Florida, Ms. Harrington attended the University of Central Florida graduating in 2005 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Following graduation and at the height of the real estate bubble, Julie returned to Ormond Beach to work as a licensed realtor. In 2007, realizing medicine was the career path that she most favored, Ms. Harrington began working in the healthcare field as a Medical Assistant in a pediatric clinic. Eventually, she plunged herself into the arduous and competitive Physician Assistant program application process. In 2010, Ms. Harrington was accepted into the Physician Assistant (PA) program at Nova Southeastern University, Jacksonville campus. After completing her initial clinical rotation in Dermatology she realized that her enthusiasm for the specialty far exceeded any other medical specialty that she had previously experienced. This would lead her to select the field of dermatology for her critical and final PA preceptorship. In March of 2013, Julie officially became a part of the Park Avenue Dermatology. Ms. Harrington is a member of both the Florida and National Societies of Dermatology Physician Assistants. On a personal level, Julie enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeremiah and her Pomeranian puppy, "Baby Girl". A little known but interesting fact about Julie is that she loves to sing on stage. Don't be surprised if you run into her singing with the band at Orlando's Rising Star.
