Mr. M. A. Ghazali Marghoob

Mr. Marghoob is a Chartered Accountant by profession and fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan and Institute of Public Finance Accountants of Pakistan. He brings with him a diversified experience spanning over 30 years in the field of Finance & Corporate Affairs in Banking & Services Industry. He started his professional career with Holiday Inn Hotel as Assistant Finance Controller. He served as CFO and Company Secretary in SME Bank and Saudi Paki Industrial & Agricultural Investment Company. He has also served as Company Secretary in Askari Bank Limited. He has completed Directors Training Program from PICG and is a Certified Independent Director. He has been director on the Boards of SME Leasing Company Ltd and Askari General Insurance Company Ltd. He has attended various seminars, workshops and conferences in Pakistan and abroad.

Mr. M. Saleem A. Ranjha

Mr. Muhammad Saleem Ahmad Ranjha is connected to various social networks, has 36 years in government and 22 years working experience with Non for Profit (NFP) sector and NGO (Non- Governmental Organizations) (on pro bono basis). Presently he is assisting and supporting many leading initiatives in Agriculture, Education, Environment, Entrepreneurship, Governance, Health, Housing, Real Estate, Tourism, Trade & Investment sectors by employing Information and Communication Technologies. After his education he joined Central Superior Services in year 1984 and served in many ministries and departments like Pakistan Inland Revenue Service, Pakistan Customs, Ministry of Commerce, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, National Vocational and Technical Training Commission NAVTTC, Civil Services Academy, Pakistan Software Export Board and the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). He also served as Collector of Customs, Member Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), CEO of FBR Foundation, Additional Secretary Board Of Investment (BOI), Federal Education & Professional Training and Secretary (CEO) Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). He was part of Pakistan trade, investment and economic negotiation teams with more than thirty countries during 2003-2019. He was nominated as one of the 100 Business Leaders and Change Makers of Pakistan by Manager Today at CEO Summit Asia 2013 and 2014. Apart from working for Government, he also works for and supports many NFP non for-profit organizations like Akhuwat, Alkhidmat, Customs Welfare Clinic, Fountain House, Indus Hospital, Kawish Welfare Trust, Rashid Memorial Welfare Organization (RMWO), Saylani Welfare Trust and Taaleem Foundation. He is Vice President and also on the Executive Board of Lahore Mental Health Society. He has been nominated as Vice Chair of Alkhidmat Information Technology Board. Mr. Saleem Ranjha supports the World Congress of Muslim Philanthropists a global group of leading Muslim donors around the world. He is also on the International Advisory Board of London based publications on Islamic Finance, Global Islamic Finance Report Islamic Finance Review and Global Islamic Finance Award. He has also been on the Global Board of Istanbul based International Business Forum, a group of Muslim businessmen in more than seventy countries. Mr. Sadruddin Hashwani - Chairman

Mr. Sadruddin Hashwani belongs to an illustrious industrialist family of Karachi. He started his business career in 1960 as a trader who, along with his brother, launched their maiden venture "Hassan Ali Company". In the early 1970, the Hashwanis were acknowledged as "Cotton Kings of Pakistan", besides being leading exporter of rice and other commodities. In the aftermath of the nationalization drive. Mr. Hashwani diverted his resources towards other business ventures, notably the Hotel industry. In 1973, he launched the construction of Holiday Inn Islamabad (Now Marriot Hotel), which was opened in 1978 under the corporate umbrella of Hashwani Hotels Limited. This was followed by Holiday Inn Karachi (Now Marriott Hotel) that was inaugurated in the year 1981. In 1985 Mr. Hashwani made a successful Bid for the majority shares of Pakistan Services Limited, which then owned 4 numbers Inter-Continental Hotels (Now Pearl Continental Hotels) that was the largest chain of 5-star hotels in Pakistan. Besides being Director in different Hashoo Group of Companies, Mr. Hashwani is also on the Board of M/s Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited.

Mr. Shahid Hussain

Mr. Shakir Abu Bakar

Mr. Shakir Abu Bakar has served many years in the field of finance and accounts in textile, Hotel, Real Estate, Construction as well as the Oil & Gas Industry. He has been associated with the Hashoo Group for more than 20 years and has served in different senior management positions. During the initial tenure of his association with Group, he has also served as Regional Finance Controller of Marriott Hotel- Hashoo Group. Prior to this he was associated with Pakistan Services Limited at different Managerial Cadre position. Currently Mr. Shakir is serving Hashoo Group as CFO-Hospitality Division. He joined the PSL Board in the year 2015 and is also on the Board of other Group companies.

Syed Haseeb Amjad Gardezi

Mr. Gardezi is a certified Management and Hospitality professional from Cornell School of Hotel Administration, USA one of the top leading Management institute of the world as well he is a Post Graduate in History and International Relations. He has over 20 years of diversified senior management and hospitality experience. He has been utilizing the expertise gained within national and global corporations in building efficient operations and systems. Skilled in all areas of executive, functional, administrative and territory management, including developing operations in Middle east and Pakistan, creating innovative Sales & Marketing strategies and expanding business into new markets. In addition to the Hotels he diversified his experience in Country Club, Golf Course and Cluster Facility Management. Mr. Gardezi further gained expertise in property and real estate development divisions and successfully executed projects such as residential Compounds, commercial arcades and community centres. He also introduced the concept of Franchise Management in limited Service lodging facility in Pakistan and heads the largest national network of such facilities under the brand name of Hotel One by Pearl Continental. Mr. Gardezi has recently joined the PSL's Board of Directors, he is also on the Board of other group Companies.
