ARMANDO RAMOS - CEO, Founder

ARMANDO RAMOS, PE is founder and CEO/President of Ramos CS, a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm specializing in civil engineering, program and construction management. Prior to starting a company, he worked at a major Corporation holding various management positions; including being part of several Leadership Councils which afforded him a global perspective on how large engineering and construction companies are managed worldwide. He was also instrumental in the growth of various market sectors throughout the United States; developing solutions for construction programs ranging from $100 million to over $1 billion in size. Mr. Ramos has over 25 years' experience working on large-scale transit and transportation systems, international airport expansions, federal and municipal facilities. He has helped modernize engineering and management workflow processes through the use of technology and has written various white papers. Mr. Ramos started his career as a Structural Engineer, where he was responsible for the design of several transit, structures and federal facilities, including underground tunnels and bridges in the Los Angeles area. Mr. Ramos is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, has a Bachelors and Masters engineering degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, along with a Professional MBA degree from Pepperdine University. Mr. Ramos has received various industry recognitions, including Engineering-News-Record ("ENR") in 2012 as "ENR California's Top 20".

IGNACIO ROMAN, PE is Vice President of Engineering and Construction Management. He has over 30 years of proven planning, design and construction experience for major transportation and rail transit projects. He has been the Resident Engineer and Construction Manager for various transportation projects, including Metro's Westside Purple Line Extension Section, Location 64 Maintenance of Way/Non-Revenue Vehicle facility and Division 20 Parts Storage Expansion Project, various Advance Utility Relocation Projects, Exposition LRT Extension Phase 2, Red Line Segment 3, Mid-City Expo Line, NCTD's Sprinter Rail Project, SCVTA's Tasman LRT Extension, SCVTA's Capitol LRT Extension, ACTA's Alameda Corridor and BART's extension to Santa Fe Springs. Mr. Roman has led major third-party teams on programs valued over $1 billion, which have resulted in progressive inter-agency cooperative agreements. He has received numerous accolades from transit agencies for his ability to lead, coordinate and progress projects to successful completion. His role with Ramos CS is to assure quality of our services on all projects, staff development and training, compliance with agency standards, and establishing a quality level of service. His approach is to develop strong integrated relationships with all project stakeholders.
