Ellen Marlatt

Ellen Marlatt is the retired co-owner of Independent Archaeological Consulting, LLC, a small but lively Portsmouth-based business serving New Hampshire and Maine for more than 25 years. Ellen has long recognized the Rep's key role in the City's vibrant cultural community and the theatre's longstanding ethos of outstanding artistic expression. She is proud to have the opportunity to use her talents and expertise to help the theatre experience continued success.

Frank Anthony

Frank Anthony has been a long-time member and season ticket subscriber at The Rep and joined the Board in 2022 upon his retirement from careers in cable television and then youth development. He brings 25 years of non-profit board leadership to further advancing our strategy and mission. He also enjoys serving as a volunteer usher and inviting local friends to enjoy the magic of The Rep. He often hears patrons comment that the productions at The Rep are on par with the shows they see on Broadway.

Helen Goransson

Helen Goransson has been a supporter and board member of The Rep for almost 35 years, starting as a parent of children in the PAPA program to being a board member and sponsor. She has owned and was an executive officer of a number of organizations and companies during her professional career and is now a busy working farmer, grandmother, wife, mother and community volunteer around the Seacoast. She and husband Paul established and own Bondgarden Farm and Bartlett Homestead Stables in Eliot, ME. Her major passions are her family, theater (especially Seacoast Repertory Theatre), and doing her part to make the world a better place. To quote JFK, "This country cannot afford to be materially rich and spiritually poor…after the dust of centuries has passed over cities, we, too, will be remembered not for victories or defeats in battles or in politics, but for our contributions to the human spirit."

Howard Sherman

HOWARD SHERMAN is an arts administrator, advocate and writer. Howard's first book, Another Day's Begun: Thornton Wilder's Our Town in the 21st Century was published in January 2021 by Methuen Drama. In February 2015, he was named director of the new Arts Integrity Initiative at the New School for Drama, focused on creative and academic freedom in the arts. From 2013 to 2017, he was Interim Director of the Alliance for Inclusion in the Arts in New York, dedicated to creating opportunities for artists of color and artists with disabilities in theatre, film and television. Since 2011, he has become an influential advocate for high school theatre, notably taking an active role in content challenges by school administrations in numerous communities nationally, and he writes extensively about intellectual and creative freedom in academic, community and professional theatre. He was named one of the "Top 40 Free Speech Defenders of 2014" by the National Coalition Against Censorship and he received the Dramatists Legal Defense Fund 2015 "Defender" Award for his work on artists rights and theatrical censorship. Howard was executive director of the American Theatre Wing from 2003 to 2011. During that time, his varied responsibilities included serving as executive producer and occasional moderator of the television program "Working in the Theatre"; creating and hosting the audio program "Downstage Center"; incorporating SpringboardNYC, the Theatre Intern Group and The Jonathan Larson Grants into ATW's programming; leading ATW's utilization of the web and social media for distribution of and communication about its programs; conceiving the book "The Play That Changed My Life"; and serving on the Tony Awards Management and Administration Committees. In addition, he was instrumental in the development of ATW's National Theatre Company Grants program, and secured the organization's first-ever funding from The Shubert Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York State Council on the Arts. Howard is a native of New Haven CT, a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and resides in Manhattan.

Jason Goodrich

Jason Goodrich has roots in the Seacoast that go back six generations and his knowledge and passion for both the community and the Seacoast Rep, are evident from the moment you meet him. Jason spent over 15 years in NYC, helping some of the world's best-known brands create their advertising and marketing strategies. He now brings this experience and expertise to his real estate career and helps clients find their dream homes across the Seacoast. Jason currently serves on the Mayor's Blue Ribbon Committee for the Arts and helped launch the Seacoast Arts Collaborative, in partnership with some of the area's leading arts & entertainment organizations. Jason is usually found exploring the outdoors with his two sons, enjoying all of the beauty and adventure that the Seacoast has to offer!

Randall Mikkelsen is a managing editor at Thomson Reuters. He has covered the White House, Wall Street and international affairs during his career, while regularly finding opportunities to explore and write about the arts. He fell in love with the theater in London in the 1970s, and has served the Seacoast Rep since 2015 as a publicity volunteer.

Steeve Wintle is a huge fan of the performing arts, in particular on the Seacoast where he has lived most of his life and raised his family. He brings sound financial acumen to the theatre based on a career in accounting and finance. Steeve is Chief Financial Officer of a start-up renewable energy company and has served in similar capacities for other companies over the last decade. He resides with in Berwick, Maine.

Tucker Oddleifson is a graduate student at Dartmouth College and previously worked as an engineer in the medical device industry and product development consulting. Tucker is committed to supporting the Rep's mission and greatly enjoys the Rep's variety of performances.
