Second Act is a partner in A Silver Lining Foundation's Chicagoland Cancer Information Coalition (CCIC). Pattie was an honorary chair of the ASLF 2011 Gala and she was named ASLF Hometown Hero in 2019 for her support of the breast cancer community. She is also on the Board of ALAS, the Latina Association for Breast Cancer; is a member of AABCP, the American Association of Breast Care Professionals; has been a volunteer mastectomy fitter for the American Cancer Society at Chicago's Stroger Cook County Hospital, and is one of only a handful of individuals in the Midwest trained to fit custom breast prostheses...
