Alan Crisp

Mr. Crisp joined NSR in 2014, following a Hong Kong based engineering role at Aurecon. Mr. Crisp is the co-author of NSR's annual Direct-to-Home (DTH) Markets report. As a member of NSR's Fixed Satellite Services (FSS) group, Mr Crisp's areas comprise of M2M communications - including the terrestrial M2M landscape. Previous consulting experience includes forecast analysis and risk management of natural disasters in Manila, where he made recommendations to policymakers about backup and emergency telecommunication links for use in city and nationwide emergencies. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree with First Class Honours in Engineering (Civil & Structural) from the University of Adelaide, Australia. Aside from English, Alan can speak French and Chinese.

Ali Younis

Mr. Younis joined NSR as an analyst in 2014 primarily supporting the FSS/HTS and Satellite Applications business areas. Mr. Younis brings several years of experience in the satellite industry to NSR. After obtaining his bachelors and masters degrees in communications engineering from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), he obtained an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs (CDI) in Paris upon which he was recruited by SES in Luxembourg. After two years in various engineering and business development roles, Mr. Younis joined O3b Networks as a strategy development and product marketing officer. Mr. Younis has contributed to strategy development in the satellite industry on corporate, business and product levels leveraging his technical and business knowledge. He has also performed significant work in corporate finance. Mr. Younis has collected significant experience in both the media sector and the emerging data communications via HTS business. He is keen on the broader technology scene and practices web development out of interest.

Andrey Telegin

Andrey Telegin specializes in Broadcast Engineering and Satellite Communications. Since 2010 Andrey works as an engineer at the Outside Broadcast crew of TRK Ukraine TV broadcast company, being part of the crew that covers a large number of events, particularly in sports and news. Andrey was born in Khartsyzsk, a small industrial town near Donetsk, where he went to school and first revealed particular inclinations for exact sciences and the English language. After school Andrey studied at Donetsk Technical School of Industrial Automatics, where he got acquainted with the basics of telecommunications, electronics and engineering technologies and computer science. Blaine Curcio

Mr. Curcio joined NSR in 2012, following a position as a project manager in Shenzhen, China. His prior industry experience includes a role at SES (Den Haag Office) as a strategic marketing intern during summer 2010, where he helped develop a strategy to increase their share-of-wallet with key Europe-based customers. His consulting experience also includes having conducted a market-entry strategy project for SGS International aiding their entry into Mainland China. Brad Grady

Mr. Grady joined NSR in 2010 and provides assistance to the Senior Analyst team on multi-client research reports and single-client consulting projects throughout NSR's coverage areas. Before joining NSR, Mr. Grady served as the Sustainable Development Projects Coordinator Intern with the Global VSAT Forum where he worked regularly with the GVF Secretariat and the Regulatory Working Group on many of the forum's initiatives. Working with the Regulatory Working Group, Mr. Grady helped develop and implement the Global Regulatory Tracking Database which records current developments in the global satellite regulatory environment. In addition, he represented the GVF at numerous industry conferences and events during his internship. Mr. Grady holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, College Park where his research focused on both Information Communication Technologies and the Satellite Communications Industry.

Britt Lewis

Martin Jarrold

Martin Jarrold has worked for the Global VSAT Forum (GVF) for more than 10 years, having been appointed GVF Chief of International Programme Development in June 2001. His particular responsibilities include outreach to the member organisations of the GVF and for the further development of the profile of the Forum within the satellite communications industry, and across the global telecommunications policy and regulatory community. This extends to the development and delivery of programmes focused on extending the understanding of, and promoting the use of, satellite-based communications in various key end-user vertical markets.
