Dr. Angela Sharma is proud to be a native Calgarian.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) from the University of Calgary. After graduation, she was accepted at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale-Davie, Florida for her dental program. After receiving her dental degree (DMD) from Florida, she went on to complete a General Practice Residency in Hawaii. Following her residency, she returned to Calgary and practiced general dentistry for a number of years.
Dr. Sharma was then accepted into the specialization program in Orthodontics at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. After two and a half years of further intensive program, she earned her Doctor of Health Sciences (DHsc.) in Orthodontics and a designation of a specialist in Orthodontics.
She has published a number of research papers in the field of dentistry. Her research work in orthodontics has been published in the prestigious American Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry (JERD 2010) "Black Triangles: Regeneration and Remediation."
Following graduation, she returned to her home in Calgary to set up her own practice.

Dr. Angela Sharma is a general dentist and orthodontic specialist, not a cosmetic dentist. Cosmetic Dentistry and Family Dentistry is not a term/specialty recognized by the Alberta Dental Association & College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA). Dr. Sharma and her team provides cosmetic dental procedures such as porcelain veneers, dental implant crowns, dental bonding, and teeth whitening as part of her general dentist and orthodontics specialty license. Dr. Sharma and her team provide general dental procedures for all ages within the family.,

Dr. Nathan Speidel was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. After a two-year service mission in Japan, Dr. Speidel attended the University of Alberta, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2016. Dr. Speidel is excited to join the South Family Dental team and get to know the community.
Dr. Speidel is passionate about providing his patients with the best care and believes it is important to provide as much information as possible so patients can make informed decisions about their oral healthcare. He strives to make every patient's visit to the dentist a comfortable, relaxing experience and hopes to build lasting relationships.
Outside of the office, Dr. Speidel enjoys spending time with his wife, Shannon and their three children. Dr. Speidel is a confessed board game fanatic who also enjoys reading, rock climbing, exploring new places, and sampling great foods of all varieties. Dr. Speidel speaks both English and some Japanese.
Dr. Neville Headley graduated from the University of Alberta in 1982. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces Dental Services for 20 years, before returning to Calgary in 1998.
Dr. Headley has delivered many presentations on various General Dentistry topics across Canada. He is also a member of the Calgary District Dental Society, the Alberta and Canadian Dental Associations, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI).
A native of Alberta, Dr. Richard Palmer has been practicing dentistry in Calgary for the past 20 years. He received both his B.Sc. and D.D.S. degrees from the University of Alberta, as well as a degree in medicine from the University of Calgary. As a general dentist, Dr. Palmer focuses his treatment primarily on endodontic (root canal) treatments.
While putting himself through school, Dr. Palmer worked as a garbage man and as a ‘jug hound' for a seismic company that worked in the high arctic. He has come a long way since then, and his patients are appreciative!
When Dr. Palmer is not busy serving his patients, he has a passion for cooking and finding new recipes, which he shares with his lovely and devoted wife and the greatest of his accomplishments - his five wonderful children.
Dr. Palmer is pleased to be a member of the South Family Dental team and looks forward to working with patients to help them achieve their dental health goals and make smiles better! Dr. Palmer looks forward to meeting you soon!
