Becca Stadler

Becca Stadler, MS, CCC-SLP is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin and the Department of Public Instruction. Becca obtained a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Marquette University. Becca has experience working in the school and hospital settings where she's provided services to people with a wide range of communication difficulties. In addition to Speech Specialists, LLC, she works in an elementary school and has particular expertise in school age children's receptive and expressive language delays, articulation and phonology delays, voice disorders, and autism. Becca is also experienced in working with preschool age children and adults with a variety of communication needs. Becca is trained in Lindamood Bell's the Visualizing and Verbalizing. She has also received training in identifying a language difference versus a language delay in individuals who are learning English as a second language.

Claire Buchholz

Claire Buchholz, MS, CCC-SLP is a nationally certified speech-language pathologist. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin and the Department of Public Instruction. Claire obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences from Marquette University. . Claire has experience working with children from 12 months to 15 years of age with a wide range of communication abilities. She has particular expertise in children's articulation delays, phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays, autism spectrum disorders, intellectual disabilities, social communication, and assistive technology. Claire lives in Milwaukee, WI and enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and trying new restaurants around the city.

She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association and is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Dawn is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and the Corporate Speech Pathology Network. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Speech and Hearing Science from the University of Iowa and a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dawn has also worked as a clinical instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and been a guest lecturer at Marquette University. Dawn has extensive experience working in clinical, school and hospital settings where she provided services to people with a wide range of communication difficulties. She has particular expertise in children's receptive and expressive language delays, articulation delays, phonological disorders, apraxia of speech, voice disorders, stuttering, and autism. Dawn is trained in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets), orofacial myofunctional disorders and Lindamood Bell's Visualizing and Verbalizing Program for Cognitive Development, Comprehension and Thinking. Dawn is also experienced in working with adults with a variety of communication needs. She specializes in stuttering therapy, regional and foreign accent modification and corporate speech training. She is certified by the Institute of Language and Phonology to provide foreign accent reduction training utilizing the Compton Pronouncing English as a Second Language (P-ESL) program. Dawn is a Hanen™ Certified therapist, providing educational workshops to parents, teachers, and daycare providers. Dawn also provides speech and language screenings for children in preschools and daycare facilities in the Milwaukee area. Dawn has 20 years experience as a speech-language pathologist and has maintained a private practice since 2007. She emphasizes family involvement and education and believes that considering her client's family life, self-esteem, emotional development and home, school, and work environment is vital for effective treatment. Dawn strives to provide the most up-to-date therapy techniques and is proud to have been awarded the American Speech and Hearing Association's Award for Continuing Education (ACE Award). Dawn and her husband live in Whitefish Bay and have two teen-aged children.
