Chad Sary - EVP

Chad serves as the Executive Vice President of Growth and Strategy at Stewart. He assists in strategizing and implementing corporate goals related to brand awareness, market growth, client development, and strategic partnerships. Chad is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in the private and public sectors on a variety of projects. His background includes experiences in land use, government administration, community planning, strategic planning, and meeting facilitation. Furthering his passion for local government, Chad was elected and serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Town of Wake Forest. He also enjoys guest lecturing and other activities that support the planning program at his alma mater - East Carolina University.

Charley Lewis

Associate VP | Manager - Raleigh | Raleigh/Triangle Market Leader Charley has 26 years of experience, including 24 with Stewart, in a wide range of bridge and building structures. His bridge experience includes the design and project management of the following structure types: prestressed cored slabs, prestressed bulb tees, straight and curved steel plate girders, suspension bridges, drilled pier foundations, micropile foundations, and cast in place and precast box culverts. Charley's building structures experience includes the project management, design and plan development of composite steel, concrete flat plate, concrete pan joists, prestressed and post-tensioned concrete, load bearing metal studs and timber construction. He has experience designing and managing the following project types: medical facilities, lab facilities, biomedical production facilities, light industrial facilities, university (classroom, labs, research, dorms), government, multi-family, parking decks, pedestrian bridges, commercial and renovations. He has designed different types of substructures including auger cast piles, precast piles, helical piers, rock anchors, and aggregate piers.

Associate Vice President | Director | Knowledge Management & Processes As Director of Knowledge Management and Processes, Denise is responsible for developing, improving and fully utilizing the company's knowledge and process assets to increase efficiency, enhance the client experience, and maximize profitability. She works with the corporate and practice leaders to design and implement "best practice" processes and programs that support the successful implementation of Stewart's strategic goals. As an organization that is committed to continuous improvement, Denise facilitates the development and delivery of knowledge programs, including the development of training manuals and various education materials. Denise's brought over 15 years of marketing, communications, operations and research experience in the commercial real estate services when she joined Stewart in 2018. Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of Strategic Marketing, where she worked closely with leadership in the development and implementation of practice area growth plans, public relations/media plans and internal communication efforts. It was during this time that she developed and implemented tools and processes that created efficiencies, increased the quality of work and simplified communications between marketing and the practice areas. Denise is a proud graduate of NC State University and currently obtaining her MBA from Western Governors University.

Frank Mundy II - EVP

Frank is the Executive Vice President of Growth & Strategy at Stewart in Columbia, South Carolina. He assists with developing and implementing business strategies, business plans, processes, procedures, and training. He helps to facilitate, plan and implement broad goals for business growth and success while establishing policies and procedures that promote culture, mission, and vision. In partnership with Stewart's practice leaders, Frank oversees the implementation of strategic plans and business objectives for each practice. Frank also represents Stewart on the advisory board of the Advanced Mobility Collective. During his career, Frank has been responsible for survey services for numerous universities, K-12 schools, airports, military bases including utility infrastructure, as well as departments of transportation and private land development. Frank is also chair of the North Carolina Agricultural & Technological State University Geomatics Program Advisory Board, a Leadership Columbia Alumni Association board member, member of the North Carolina Geodetic Survey Advisory Board, and board member of the International Right of Way Association Chapter 31.

Greg Holmes

Greg joined Stewart over 11 years ago, after working as a mechanical engineer in the aviation field and since then, he has worked on projects that involve special foundations such as auger cast piles, aggregate piers, and micropiles, along with conducting inspections for structural wood, structural steel, cold-formed steel framing, spray applied fire-resistant materials, reinforced/post-tensioned/precast concrete and masonry. He provides inspections of concrete installation and reinforcing installation. Greg became a project manager is 2011 and became Manager of Testing & Inspections in 2017.

Jamie Harward

With over 15 years of experience at Stewart, Jamie has supported over half of all practice areas. This experience gives Jamie a big picture view of Stewart as a whole and a unique ability to understand the inner workings of project management from multiple perspectives. In her current role, Jamie oversees operations for all the Geomatics locations, both in North Carolina and South Carolina. Jamie's depth of research and highly organized data is critical as Geomatics continues to grow, while she aids in operational tasks and practice area goals. She works closely with the Geomatics leadership team to ensure the financial health of the practice, which includes assisting with proposals, bookings, billings, invoicing, collections, and more. Jamie is instrumental in project management, where she provides back-end technical support, contract management, project set-up, coordinating schedules, travel, and producing project tracking reports amongst a plethora of other duties. Jamie plays an integral role in sustaining and maintaining Stewart Geomatics.

Jeff D. Oden

As director, Jeff is responsible for the coordination of design and production and the quality control / quality assurance on all civil engineering projects in the Charlotte region. Jeff has experience in all areas of civil design including site planning, hydrologic studies, grading and storm drainage design, storm water management planning and design, erosion control design, water and wastewater systems design, street and roadway design, underground utilities and other infrastructure improvements. Additional fields of competence include construction administration, agency review coordination and permit approvals. Jeff is located in the Charlotte office.

Kasia Nels - VP

Kasia is a certified HR professional with over 15 years of Human Resources experience. She is the Director of People Experience and Associate Vice President at Stewart, where her is focus is talent management and improving the employee work experience. She is a steward of our culture, she spearheads the wellness program, and she leads Stewart U, the internal training program. Kasia works diligently behind the scenes to support business growth and company objectives. During her tenure, Stewart has more than doubled in size and has been recognized as a TBJ Best Place to Work. She tirelessly promotes communication, accountability, and risk management. She is responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent as well as working with the management team to increase productivity. Additionally, Kasia is in charge of all other HR functions: compensation, benefits administration, employee relations, on/off boarding, compliance with employment law, policy interpretation/creation, records maintenance, and HRIS administration. Accompanying her role at Stewart, Kasia is a member of the RWHRMA Executive Think Tank and the Triangle Chief Human Resources Officers Association.

As Manager of Survey, Kris is responsible for the overall management of surveying services in the Charlotte region. She has built a reputation for excellence in project completion by focusing on quality control and completing project objectives. During Kris' over 26-year career, she has worked in all aspects of office and field land surveying services including boundary, sectional, topographic, construction stacking, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, preparation of legal descriptions, and subdivision platting.

Lance Williams - VP

Lance is our Practice Leader for Structural Engineering in both North Carolina and South Carolina. His responsibilities include oversight and management of projects, client development and retention, project and practice profitability, personnel, and general administrative management. Lance also serves as project manager on large and complex projects. His project experience ranges from higher education, civic, and commercial, to K-8, residential, and renovation projects. He has extensive knowledge of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry. Lance has been with Stewart since 2003 and has been a key part of the growth and success of the Charlotte office. As a native North Carolinian, Lance remains focused on how our work can shape our community and the impact structural engineering has to shape and create the future.

Lee Anne Nance - COO, President

Lee Anne serves as President and Chief Operations Officer (COO) at Stewart. Her primary responsibilities are developing and implementing business strategies, systems, plans, and procedures and helping establish broad goals for growth and success. She creates policies and procedures that promote culture, mission, and vision and focuses on employee, client, market, and service development. Before working at Stewart, Lee Anne had an economic development and marketing consulting practice and worked as a local and regional economic developer for 16 years. Lee Anne is a proud NC native and Wolfpacker, with undergraduate and graduate degrees in Economics from North Carolina State University.

Matt Price - VP

Matt, our Chief Information Officer, has over 25 years' IT experience in the A/E/C field and has been with Stewart over 20 years. With an emphasis on the operational requirements of the industry, he built a team focused on internal and external customer needs. His expertise includes facilitating efficiency among service lines, building dynamic infrastructures, and cloud computing. He is active in leading forums connecting IT professionals in the industry and serves as the Board Liaison for Stewart's Wellness Committee.

Pam Kistner - VP

With more than 28 years of experience in all facets of civil engineering, Pam is an accomplished and versatile professional. Her portfolio of work features stormwater management, land development, site design, water, sanitary sewer, roadway, and permitting on a wide variety of projects including higher education and K-12, military facilities, parks and greenways, and mixed-use.

Rebecca Ackerson - VP

Rebecca serves at the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Stewart and is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling Stewart's financial-related activities. In addition to overseeing accounting and payroll functions, she establishes and oversees financial operational strategies and the long-term financial planning needs of the company. Rebecca's 20 years of accounting experience have provided her opportunities in both private and public companies as well serving as a faculty member at a university. Rebecca has her undergraduate degree from Meredith College and graduate degree from NC State University.

Ryan Davenport

Ryan serves as the Manager of Geospatial at Stewart. He is responsible for overseeing the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and High Definition Laser Scanning Services (HDS). Ryan has been with Stewart for over 15 years and has held previous roles in the Geomatics Group including Survey Project Manager and Manager of Survey. With over 24 years of progressive surveying experience, Ryan has acquired skills in data collection and data processing as well as project management and business development. He has worked in varying capacities on high-profile projects in and around North Carolina and the Research Triangle Park, including projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation, North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Foundation, WakeMed Hospital, Duke Health System, UNC Health System, and various commercial and private developers. As a Professional Licensed Surveyor, Ryan's interests are focused on promoting the development and utilization of techniques for data acquisition, data analysis and applications to support client's needs.

Tedd Duncan - VP

Tedd is a registered landscape architect with over 21 years of experience in the design industry, generating design concepts, refining project market position, managing the public process, coordinating programming, producing detailed plans and coordinating project management. Tedd has worked in many market segments and in locations across the globe. His most recent projects focus on urban planning, open space planning and park rehabilitation, sustainable master planning and brownfield development. Through the exploration of creative alternatives, design solutions resolve issues, leverage value and service client desires.

Tim Thomas

Tim serves as the Director of Client Relationships for Geomatics . He leads internal and external brand awareness efforts, client development, and business growth in concert with the Geomatics Practice Leader. Tim serves as a point of contact for clients, managing external relationships to provide excellent customer service. Tim works directly with project managers and managers within geomatics to strategically position the practice for growth and profitability. His experience includes boundary and physical surveys, topographic and construction staking, land development and experience in NCDOT, utility surveys, sanitary sewer outfall, and SUE projects. Tim also has extensive experience in implementing processes and procedures for field crews and office personnel to ensure Quality Control standards are exceeded.

Timothy Summerville

Timothy serves as director for Stewart and has over 14 years of experience working in both the public and private sectors. His experience includes two years with a municipal Road Commission where he monitored the survey, design, and construction of multiple roadway improvement projects, as well as six years working for private civil engineering and survey firms. Throughout his career, Tim has worked on projects that included surveying, construction inspection, water and sewer design, stormwater analysis and design, site design and roadway improvements design. Tim is located in the Durham office.

Trina Agnello

Trina has over 20 years of structural engineering experience in North Carolina and Florida in a wide variety of project types, including healthcare, retail, fire stations, private residential and commercial buildings. She has worked on projects as both a project engineer and project manager using steel, wood, and masonry buildings which include deep foundation design in hurricane-prone regions. Trina is familiar with all design phases from schematic design to construction administration.

Vince Williams

Vince has spent over 30 years designing structures from Upstate to the Lowcountry and throughout the southeast. As the manager of structural engineering for South Carolina, Vince is responsible for the oversight and management of structural practice, including design, project management, client relations, business development. Vince has worked on a variety of structures including entertainment arenas, municipal centers, office buildings, medical centers and educational buildings from middle schools to college campuses. Prior to joining Stewart, Vince served as department head of structural programs at Hussey Gay & Bell, where he supervised structural engineers, technicians and drafters across six corporate offices. Previous to that he owned his own firm for 22 years, responsible for all aspects of a project from marketing to design to inspections. Vince holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural design from The Citadel.
