Our firm has developed a new robust and stable trifluoromethyl tagged palladium(0) catalyst.The SUPERSTABLE Pd(0) CATALYST is unique in its thermo, moisture and air stability which allows for a reduced catalyst load and low palladium contamination. Only a 0.005 mol% catalyst load is needed for effective Suzuki couplings, and only 0.25 mol% for effective Heck couplings. A 1 mol% catalyst load is enough for effective (and copper free) Sonogashira coupling. Instead of minutes or hours - as with previous palladium(0) catalysts - the SUPERSTABLE Pd(0) CATALYST can be stored for years exposed to air at room temperature without any detectable decomposition... The Research and Consulting Ltd. H4Sep was launched on March 1st, 2007 with the involvement of two chemists, the Chemical Research Center of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and three companies. The goal was to provide a framework for developing a new air- and moisture- stable cross coupling catalyst and for putting it on the market...
