Aleksandar Rakic

  • Practice Leader Compliance
Aleks' primary focus is supporting clients in the area of HR legal compliance, including organizations under the OFCCP mandates. He has successfully supported organizations being audited and has worked with management teams to implement policies which minimize potential liability and risk beyond compliance. Aleks received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from John Carroll University, where he finished first in his class among Finance graduates. During his college studies, he achieved membership to Beta Gamma Sigma, the International Honors Society recognizing excellence in business. Upon graduation from John Carroll, Aleks worked as a field auditor for the Sherwin-Williams Company prior to being promoted to a division inventory analyst. From 2010 to 2013 Aleks attended Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and received his J.D., graduating magna cum laude and finishing in the top 15% of his class. He is admitted to the Ohio State Bar and is also admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Prior to joining TAMS in 2014, Aleks managed the Canton office of the law firm Borders and Gerace, LLC.

Dan Simovic - Managing Director

Dan possesses more than 30 years of leadership experience in organizational design, succession planning, talent acquisition, executive coaching, performance management, employee engagement and total rewards, including incentive design. Previously Dan managed HR for multiple segments of a global manufacturer. He additionally led Corporate Recruiting, Compliance, HR Programs and globally supported improvement initiatives related to compensation, HRIS and related systems. As a certified LSS Champion Dan managed Black and Green Belts globally in driving HR process improvements. He was part of the core leadership team that received the International Quality & Productivity Center Best Start Up Program and Best Process Excellence Program Award. Earlier in his career Dan managed HR for the Consumer Finance Division and all Corporate Units for a top ten banking firm. Dan worked on multiple large scale M&A integration initiatives during this period.

Ginny Wilczak

Job Titles:
  • Managing Consultant
Ginny brings years of experience across a variety of business sizes, industries and ownership structures. Her consulting approach is results driven and customer-focused, particularly in connecting critical strategic HR initiatives to effective tactical execution. She has supported such initiatives in both established organizations and within the Merger and Acquisition space of private equity. Prior to joining TAMS as a Managing Consultant Ginny functioned as the Chief Human Resources Officer of a $700 million plastics manufacturer, which was carved out of a larger corporation. Ginny's earlier work experience includes working with both small and mid sized organizations within manufacturing and healthcare. Ginny's strongest consulting expertise is in change management, HR department optimization, private equity sales, acquisition and carve-out experience. This vast knowledge is based on her years of driving HR operations, talent management, organizational design, HR systems implementations, talent acquisition and employee engagement initiatives. Ginny earned a BA in Sociology with Minor in Business Management from Wells College. She attended leadership training through the Cleveland YWCA and was awarded Woman of Professional Excellence in 2016.

Glen Adams

Job Titles:
  • Practice Leader, Manufacturing
Glen is a veteran executive with over 30 years of manufacturing leadership with a proven history of improving operational efficiencies over a broad range of organizations and businesses. He is well versed and experienced with all the standard productivity improvement processes but also places a high priority on the development of a culture which encourages innovation at all levels. Glen is a strong proponent of lean initiatives, continuous improvement, organizational design, and EH&S development. His approach is to make tangible step by step improvements in operational/supply chain organizations and has supported both Fortune 500 corporations and more focused private equity initiatives. Prior to joining TAMS, Glen held a variety of manufacturing leadership positions culminating in his last role as Vice President of Operations for a large polymer manufacturer with multiple plants located across the globe. He has a proven track record of engaging employees and improving operational/safety/quality performance. Glen earned his MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville. He is also a certified Black Belt and APICS CSCP certified.

Sandy Turba

Sandy has broad human resources acumen, with expertise in performance management, employee engagement, total rewards and compensation analysis and design, onboarding practices, HR operations assessments, and program development. Her clients include private and publicly-held organizations across multiple industry sectors, including manufacturing, services, healthcare, technology, banking, public administration/educational services and social services agencies. Prior to joining TAMS in 2007 Sandy worked for Ernst & Young/Capgemini, initially with the Management Consulting practice of Ernst & Young U.S. and later with the Outsourcing Services division of Capgemini, one of the world's largest providers of consulting and outsourcing services worldwide. She developed HR processes and compensation structures in wholly-owned subsidiaries, joint ventures, and acquisitions and implemented variable pay programs. Sandy holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University.

Shari Heimberger

Job Titles:
  • Accounting Manager
Shari joined TAMS Group in May, 2017. She manages all accounting functions including billing, payroll, general accounting, financial statements, and project assignments. Shari began her career as an internal auditor with a local bank and then transitioned to a public accounting firm. Over the next 17 years she worked at several firms running accounting and tax engagements for a variety of privately held businesses in many industries, including manufacturing, health care, and non-profit organizations. In addition to client responsibilities Shari also took on the task of several administrative functions: staff/engagement scheduling and establishment of the firm peer review process. Shari also served as part of the management team for a children's mental health agency. In addition to providing accounting services, she owns and manages a Curves gym. Shari earned her B.A. in Accounting from Bowling Green State University and was certified as a CPA in 1989. Shari enjoys gardening, traveling and spends many summer weekends attending Jazz and Blues music festivals.
